How we handle a bag from Al Wasl
Every bag from Al Wasl goes through the same steps. A full bag gets the same care as a half-empty one, and nothing is rushed to meet a deadline.
- Pockets first: we turn them out. Coins, tissues and receipts go in a tray, not the drum, because one forgotten pen can mark a whole load.
- Sorting: whites and light colours go together. Dark sports kit gets a load of its own, and delicates a cooler wash.
- Marks: sun cream, sweat and food stains are treated by hand before the wash.
- Washing: a mild, biodegradable detergent and a long rinse, so clothes smell fresh rather than perfumed.
- Drying: low heat, so cotton keeps its size and elastic keeps its stretch.
- Folding: by hand, with a last look at each piece, then packed for the trip back to Al Wasl.
Things that should hang, such as work shirts, belong in Clean & Press.
Booking a pickup in Al Wasl
You book on WhatsApp, and it takes about a minute. There's no app, no account and no contract.
- Share your pin. A map pin shows the driver exactly where to come in Al Wasl, which helps when two streets have similar names.
- Pick a time. Early morning, lunchtime or evening: you choose, and we plan the route around it.
- Leave a note. Say whether the bag will be at your front door, with a neighbour or at the building entrance.
- Get confirmation. We reply on WhatsApp, and message again when the driver is on the way.
Pickup is free and so is the return trip. You pay for the washing and nothing else.
What to put in your Al Wasl bag
Almost any everyday clothing can go in one bag, up to 6kg. Here is a rough guide for an Al Wasl household.
- Fine for the bag: T-shirts, jeans, shorts, socks, underwear, pyjamas, leggings, light jumpers and sports kit.
- Sports kit: after tennis or a cycle round Safa Park, put it in the bag the same day if you can.
- Towels and sheets: they can share the bag, but a few heavy towels use up 6kg quickly. For those, book the 12kg bag.
- Keep out: anything soaked in oil or paint, and dry-clean-only pieces.
Not sure about one piece? Send a photo of its care label and we'll tell you which service suits it best.
Things to book under another service
Wash and fold is for the clothes that live in a drawer. A few pieces suit other services better.
- Shirts, blouses and trousers you hang: use Clean & Press.
- Clean but creased: Pressing takes the creases out without a second wash.
- Silk, lace, sequins or thick wool: choose dry cleaning, which is kinder to them than water.
- Duvets, pillows and blankets: these are under Bed & Bath, with prices of their own.
You can mix services on one pickup from Al Wasl. Just put each type in its own bag, and write on it what it is.
How we wash and dry your load
Your load goes in a machine of its own, never with another customer's clothes. Here is what happens next.
- Room in the drum: we never cram it, because tight loads rinse badly and come out stiff.
- Detergent: commercial-grade, biodegradable and hypoallergenic, in the right amount. Too much soap is what leaves clothes feeling rough.
- Temperature: picked by fabric and colour, not by habit.
- Rinse: a full rinse, so no detergent stays in the cloth.
- Dryer: low heat. We take things out while they're still slightly warm, which makes them easier to fold flat.
When the cycle ends we clean and sanitise the drum before the next customer's load goes in.
Pickup across Al Wasl and next door
We collect from every part of Al Wasl. That runs from the Jumeirah side by the canal down to the Business Bay edge, and across to City Walk beside Sheikh Zayed Road.
- Name a landmark. Safa Park, City Walk or the canal bridge on Al Wasl Road: any of them helps the driver find you.
- Add your building or villa. A name or number works better than a street name.
- Next door too. Al Safa, Al Satwa and Business Bay all get the same free pickup.
Whichever side of Al Wasl Road you live on, the price is the same.
A weekly plan for Al Wasl homes
Do you send a bag most weeks? Then a monthly plan is the budget-friendly wash and fold option. We collect on the same weekday, so you never rebook, and each plan bag costs less than a single one.
- Essential: four bags a month, one a week, for AED 250. It suits one person or a couple.
- Family: eight bags a month, two a week, for AED 450. It covers school uniforms, sports kit and the weekend wash.
- Single bag: AED 65 each time you need one, with no commitment.
Choose your weekday on WhatsApp and we'll come to Al Wasl on that day every week.
How quickly it comes back, plus stain tips
Most Dubai orders are back within 24 hours. If you need it sooner, book before 2 PM for express in 5 hours, if your address is covered. That's our same-day laundry service, and the express laundry delivery for the days you can't wait. Send your pin and we'll confirm.
- Sun cream: it leaves a yellow mark on white collars. Tell us where it is.
- Oil or food: blot it, don't rub, and send it soon.
- Sweat: a treatment before the wash works better than a hotter wash.
- Sand and dust: after a windy day, shake things out before you pack them.
Mention any stain when you book, and we'll look at it first.
Shirts and kanduras from Al Wasl, ready to wear
Work shirts, kanduras, abayas and good trousers from Al Wasl are cleaned one garment at a time and steamed on a hanger. A shirt is AED 18 and a kandura is AED 15. The price is for each piece, and we collect and bring them back for nothing.

- A fixed price for every garment

- Back in 24 hours, delicates in 48

What's included in the price
The price per garment covers the whole job. You don't pay extra for any of the steps below.
- Label check: we read the care label before we choose a method.
- Spot treatment: marks are treated by hand ahead of the wash.
- Gentle wash: a cool wash and low-heat drying, kind to the cloth.
- Hand steaming: collars, cuffs, plackets and pleats are done one by one.
- Packing: a hanger and a breathable cover, not a plastic bag.
Collection and delivery in Al Wasl are free, so the price on the list is the price you pay.
Sending work clothes from Al Wasl
Send a short list on WhatsApp, such as "six shirts and two kanduras". Add your Al Wasl address and any special requests, for example firm collars or no crease down the sleeve.
Put hanging clothes in a separate bag from your folded washing. Then we can collect both on one visit and send each to the right place.
Not sure which of your pieces belong on a hanger? Message us a photo of the label, and we'll sort it out before the driver arrives.
Clothes that suit clean and press
Plenty of what hangs in an Al Wasl wardrobe is better on a hanger than in a drawer.
- Shirts and blouses: for the office or for dinner.
- Trousers and chinos: with a front crease if you like one.
- Suits: jacket and trousers together, as a two-piece.
- Dresses and skirts: everyday ones, not beaded or sequinned.
- Kanduras, ghutras, jalabiyas and kurtas: each has its own price in the table above.
- Abayas: plain ones are here. For heavily decorated ones, send a photo of the label first.
A winter coat is on the list as well, for trips abroad or an office with strong air conditioning.
When another service suits better
If your Al Wasl pieces are already clean, you may only need pressing, which takes the creases out without a wash. If they are very delicate or covered in beads, dry cleaning is gentler on them than water.
Everyday T-shirts, socks and pyjamas cost less by the bag, so use Wash & Fold for those. Not sure? Send us a picture of the label.
Reading the symbols on your care labels
The little icons sewn into a collar or side seam tell you what the maker advises. Here is what a few of them mean.
- A tub with a number: the hottest wash the cloth can take.
- A triangle with a cross through it: no bleach.
- A plain circle: dry cleaning only, or suitable for it.
- Dots on the press symbol: the heat the cloth tolerates. One dot is cool and three is hot.
- A crossed-out symbol: don't do that to this garment.
We read every label on the garments we collect in Al Wasl. If a label has faded, tell us the fabric and we'll treat it with care.
Collecting hanging clothes in Al Wasl
Hanging clothes are collected from your front door or the building entrance, wherever you tell us on WhatsApp.
On a hot day, keep the bag out of direct sun until we arrive. Add your villa number or building name so the driver goes straight to the right place, which saves time along Al Wasl Road.
When your clothes come back they are on hangers, covered and ready for the wardrobe.
Timing and express for Al Wasl
Standard clean and press comes back in 24 hours, and delicate pieces in 48. Need it sooner? Book before 2 PM for express in 5 hours, if your address is covered.
Ask on WhatsApp with your Al Wasl pin, and we'll tell you whether express reaches you before you commit to anything.
For an event, a trip or a job interview, tell us the date when you book and we'll plan around it.
Marks we see often, and what to say
A few marks turn up again and again. Each one is easier to clear if you tell us about it.
- Collar rings: sweat and sun cream build up along the collar. Mention which shirts have it.
- Coffee drips: if it happened over lunch, tell us. Heat sets coffee quickly.
- Ink: note which pocket or sleeve it came from.
- Yellow underarms: usually sweat mixed with deodorant, and best treated early.
Add a note to your Al Wasl order. Our team reads every one.
Bedding and towels from Al Wasl, priced by the piece
Bulky item washing is easier to hand over than to fit in a home machine. Al Wasl bedding and towels are priced one piece at a time: a bed sheet is AED 25, a towel AED 7 and a duvet AED 56. Pickup and delivery cost nothing.
Per bed sheetAED 25flat or fitted, folded flat
- Each piece has a price, with no weighing
- Drums with room for a king duvet
- Duvets back in two to three days
- Biodegradable detergent that is kind to skin
- Folded only once fully dry
- A longer rinse for beach and pool towels

| Blanket, standard sizeBigger ones cost more | AED 26 |
| Bath or pool towel | AED 7 |
| Bathrobe | AED 19 |
| Sofa cover, regularRemovable, with a zip | AED 46 |
Bath mats, cushion covers and larger sofa covers are on the UAE prices page. A duvet from Al Wasl costs what it does anywhere in Dubai, and the driver is free.
What each price covers
The price of each piece includes everything we do to it. A bed linen wash and fold from Al Wasl has four steps.
- Sorting: whites, colours and heavy items go in separate loads.
- Washing: a mild detergent, at a temperature chosen for the fabric.
- Drying: low heat until the item is dry all the way through, including the thick seams.
- Folding: flat and neat by hand, with sheets and pillowcases kept together in sets.
A duvet cover is priced separately from the duvet, at AED 31, because we take it off and wash it by itself. That stops the filling tangling inside the cover.
Pickup and delivery add nothing to the bill, so the list price is what you pay.
Sending bedding from Al Wasl
Strip the bed and bundle the sheets and covers together. Put pillows, duvets and blankets in a larger bag, apart from the sheets.
Send us a WhatsApp message with your Al Wasl address and a short list, for example "two sheets, four pillowcases, one king duvet". We collect from your door and bring everything back clean.
Tell us if anything has a stain or a smell, so the team can treat it before washing.
Everything comes back folded and ready to go on the bed, with sheets and matching pillowcases kept together.
Duvet, comforter, blanket or bedcover?
These four look alike but are cleaned differently, so here is a quick guide.
- Duvet: AED 56. A loose filling inside a cover, from single to king size.
- Comforter: a quilted piece, where stitching holds the filling in place.
- Blanket: AED 26 for a standard size. Fleece and wool are washed gently.
- Bedcover: AED 29. Decorative, and often with a heavier weave.
Our duvet and comforter laundering uses big drums, so a king size has room to move. Don't know which one you have? Send us a photo from your home in Al Wasl.
Sheets, pillowcases and pillows
Sheets are AED 25 each and pillowcases AED 9. A pillow is AED 19, and a mattress protector AED 35.
- Sheets: washed, dried and folded flat. Fitted and flat sheets cost the same.
- Pillowcases: they come back stacked, ready to slip on.
- Pillows: a gentle wash and a thorough dry, then a fluff so they keep their shape.
- Mattress protectors: washed on a cooler setting, so the backing isn't damaged.
Fresh sheets feel good in Al Wasl's humid summer, so a spare set means you're never stuck while the first is out.
Towel laundry service for Al Wasl: bath, beach and gym
Towels come out soft when they are rinsed well. We rinse each one thoroughly and dry it completely. A towel is AED 7 and a bathrobe is AED 19.
- Beach and pool towels: send them the same day. Salt, sun cream and chlorine wash out more easily when fresh.
- Gym towels: let them air before you pack them, so they don't smell.
- Bathrobes: the collar dries last, so we check it again. Tuck the belt into a sleeve so it stays with the robe.
- Sofa covers: AED 46 for a regular zip-off cover. Note which cushion each one came from.
- Tablecloths: AED 19. Tell us what was spilled.
Don't pack wet towels with duvets. In humid weather, damp spreads into the filling.
Things we can't machine wash
A few things need another approach. It's better to know before we collect them.
- Memory-foam pillows and mattress toppers: water damages the foam.
- Electric blankets: the wiring isn't made for a washing machine.
- Silk or heavily embroidered bedspreads: these suit dry cleaning better.
- Anything with a badly torn seam: the filling can spill out. Tell us and we'll advise.
If you're unsure about something from your Al Wasl home, send a photo of its label first and we'll say what we can do. Many of these pieces have a cleaner option than the machine, and we'd rather tell you before collection than after.
Why a duvet takes two to three days
A duvet is thick, and its filling holds a lot of water. It has to dry slowly and fully, or it can smell damp and the filling can clump together.
In Dubai's humid summers that is slow even in a commercial dryer, so we plan for 48 to 72 hours. We'd rather you wait a little than get back a duvet that is still damp in the middle.
If you need your bed ready by a certain night, tell us the date when you book from Al Wasl.
Bedding pickup in Al Wasl and nearby
We collect bedding from all of Al Wasl, from the Jumeirah edge to the Business Bay side.
Duvets are bulky. Leave one in a big bag at your door, and tell us on WhatsApp where it is. For Al Safa, Al Satwa and City Walk it's the same free pickup, and the same price per piece.
Sheets, covers and towels can go in the same pickup as your duvet.
Just write the item names in the WhatsApp message, with your building or villa number, and the driver will have the full picture.

Al Wasl laundry: your questions
What does the laundry service in Al Wasl include?

- Wash and fold: one price per bag
- Clean & Press: a price for each garment
- Only want creases out? Try Pressing
Do you collect laundry near me in Al Wasl?
Yes, we collect from every part of Al Wasl. If you have been searching for a laundry service near me, send your pin and your villa number or building name on WhatsApp. Say where the bag will be waiting, and the driver does the rest. Pickup and delivery are free.
- Send your pin on WhatsApp
- Add your building or villa name
- Free pickup, free delivery
Can I get my laundry back the same day in Al Wasl?
Sometimes. Book before 2 PM and express takes 5 hours, if your address is covered. Send your pin on WhatsApp and we will tell you straight away. Otherwise our next-day laundry service brings most Dubai orders home within 24 hours. Duvets and other bulky bedding need 48 to 72 hours.
- Express: 5 hours, where covered
- Standard: back within 24 hours
- Duvets and heavy bedding: 48 to 72 hours
How much is wash and fold in Al Wasl?
A 6kg bag costs AED 65. A 12kg bag costs AED 120. There are no hidden fees. If you send a bag most weeks, a monthly plan brings the price per bag down. Shirts, kanduras and abayas are priced by the piece, apart from the bags.
- Essential: four bags a month
- Family: eight bags a month
- Shirts and kanduras are priced separately
What should I send to the driver in Al Wasl?
Send your pin, plus your villa number or building name. Tell us where the bag will be waiting, such as at your front door or the building entrance. If access is tricky, write that in the chat. The driver messages you when they are close.
- Pin plus building or villa name
- Say where the bag will be
- Hand over in person if you like
Can I wash my beach and pool towels with clothes?
Yes, towels can share a bag with clothes. Let wet ones dry a little first, because a damp towel soon smells in a closed bag. Rinse swimwear in fresh water too, as chlorine and salt fade colour. For a lot of heavy towels, the 12kg bag has more room.
- Let wet towels dry a little
- Rinse swimwear first
- A 12kg bag fits more towels
Will my shirts come back pressed?
It depends on the service. Shirts sent through Clean & Press come back steamed on hangers. Wash and fold items come back neatly folded, not hung. If a clean shirt is only creased, our pressing service smooths it out without washing it again, for a price per piece.
- Clean & Press: steamed on hangers
- Wash and fold: returned folded
- Creased only? Use Pressing
Can you clean my kandura or abaya?
Yes, we do. Kanduras, abayas, ghutras and jalabiyas all go through Clean & Press, and each has its own price per piece. A plain abaya and a delicate one are priced differently. For beads or embroidery, send a photo of the label first. Pickup and delivery in Al Wasl are free.
- Kandura, ghutra and jalabiya: each its own price
- Beads or embroidery? Send a label photo
- A plain abaya and a delicate one differ
How long does a duvet from Al Wasl take?
A duvet takes 48 to 72 hours. It is thick, and the filling has to dry right through, which takes longer in Dubai's humid summer. Duvet covers, sheets and towels can go in the same pickup. The cover is priced separately from the duvet.
- Duvets: 48 to 72 hours
- Sheets and towels in the same pickup
- A cover is priced separately
Is your detergent safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. We use a hypoallergenic, biodegradable detergent, and your load runs in a machine of its own. The drum is sanitised after every wash. Tell us about any allergy when you book, and we add it to your order notes so the team sees it before the first wash.
- Own machine for each customer
- Machine sanitised each wash
- Tell us about allergies
