Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery in City Walk

Once our driver leaves City Walk with your bag, it goes straight to the machines. Here is what happens next, from the moment it arrives to the moment it is back at your building, so you know exactly what the bag price covers.

• Looked over. We check pockets and labels, and we read any mark you mentioned in your note. Anything fragile is set aside and handled apart from the rest.
• Sorted by colour. Whites and lights stay apart from darks and sports kit. That stops colours running and keeps pale T-shirts pale, even when a pair of dark jeans is in the same bag. Stretchy pieces are kept away from heavy items.
• Washed alone. Your bag has its own machine, sanitised beforehand. The detergent is commercial-grade, yet hypoallergenic and biodegradable, and the cycle is chosen to suit the fabric.
• Dried on low heat. Gentle heat helps cotton keep its size and stretchy fabric keep its shape. Each piece comes out fully dry before it is folded.
• Folded and packed. Everything is folded by hand and returned in the same bag, ready to go straight into the drawer or the wardrobe.

1. Message us. Send your building name, the entrance and any floor or flat details on WhatsApp. If you would rather use a form, the Book online button asks for the same things. Neither one needs an app, and both work at any hour of the day or night.
2. Pick a time. Choose the slot that suits you, and tell us if you will be out so we know where to collect from.
3. Leave the bag. Put it at your door, or at reception if your building has one, and add a note for anything we should know.
4. We confirm. You get a reply with the details, and updates follow in the same chat until the bag is back.
5. Get it back. The clean, folded bag returns to the same spot, usually within 24 hours.

Sending shirts too? List them under Clean & Press and we will collect everything in one visit. If you want contactless pickup and delivery, say so when you book and leave the bag outside your door. Nobody needs to be home.

A wash and fold bag takes your everyday washing, as long as it stays under 6kg, or under 12kg if you choose the bigger bag. Here is what usually goes in, so you can see what fits.

• T-shirts and tops. Cotton, jersey and casual shirts all go in together, and they come back folded.
• Jeans and trousers. Denim is heavy, so a few pairs use up weight quickly. Keep an eye on the total.
• Underwear and socks. Put them in loose, as they are washed with everything else.
• Gym and sports kit. Send it soon after training, since damp fabric starts to smell if it sits in a bag.
• Swimwear. Let it dry a little first, then pop it in the bag with the rest.
• Loungewear and pyjamas. Soft clothes get the same careful wash as everything else.

A few things do better in a different service, and it is worth sorting them before the driver arrives. Here is where they belong.

• Shirts, blouses and anything you want on a hanger: choose Clean & Press, where each piece is cleaned, pressed and returned hanging, ready for the wardrobe.
• Silk, suits and dresses: these suit dry cleaning, which follows the care label closely.
• Duvets, comforters and thick blankets: they go under Bed & Bath, which has the large machines to handle them.
• Trainers and shoes: shoe care cleans them by hand, so keep them out of the bag.
• Rugs and curtains: each has its own service and its own price.

Every load follows the same steps, whether it is the first bag you have sent us or the fiftieth. Nothing is skipped because a bag looks light, and nothing is rushed to make a deadline.

• Check. Pockets are emptied and labels are read before anything is washed.
• Sort. Colours and fabrics are separated before anything goes near a drum.
• Treat. Marks you mention are dealt with by hand first, which gives stains the best chance of lifting.
• Wash. A machine used only for your order, with detergent that is gentle on skin and sanitised drums.
• Dry. On low heat, so cotton keeps its size and elastic keeps its stretch.
• Fold. Each piece is folded by hand rather than bundled, which makes the bag easier to put away.
• Return. The bag goes back to your City Walk building, usually within 24 hours.

If anything needs special treatment, such as a delicate top or a stained shirt, put it in your booking note and it is handled on its own. A short note costs nothing and often makes the difference.

City Walk is part of the Al Wasl community. Standard pickup covers every part of Dubai, so the price and the free collection stay the same wherever you are. These notes may help when you book.

• Apartments and penthouses. Meraas lists homes of one to five bedrooms here. Tell us your building name and entrance when you book, and mention reception if there is one.
• Near the arena or the park. Name the closest landmark, such as the Coca-Cola Arena or Central Park, if it makes the entrance easier to find.
• Al Wasl. The community around City Walk is covered too, with the same free pickup. See the Al Wasl page for that side.
• Business Bay. It borders Al Wasl to the south, and we collect there as well. Read the Business Bay page if you work or live over that way.

If you send laundry every week, a plan is simpler than booking each bag. The Essential plan is AED 250 a month for four bags, with one collected each week. The Family plan is AED 450 a month for eight bags, with two collected each week. A single bag with no plan is AED 65.

• Essential. One bag a week, billed once a month.
• Family. Two bags a week, also billed once a month.
• One-off. No sign-up, so order whenever you need to.

For a household that washes a lot, a plan is an affordable laundry service because the cost per bag comes down. Ask on WhatsApp which one fits, and we will help you choose before you commit.

Most wash and fold orders come back within 24 hours. That is the standard time for most of Dubai, and it includes the trip back to your building. Plan on that for a normal week.

If you need it sooner, book before 2 PM and ask about express. Express brings an order back in 5 hours, only where your address is covered, so send your building name first and we will check. It is the option to pick when you need gym kit for tomorrow morning, and it counts as express laundry delivery. Orders placed after 2 PM go on the next-day timetable instead.

• Tell us about stains. Say what it was and how long ago it happened.
• Keep wet kit out of the bag. Let sports kit and swimwear dry a little before you pack them.
• Pull out the odd item. Anything delicate can be listed under Clean & Press instead.

Each Clean & Press price covers the whole job for that piece, so there is nothing to add on top. Here is what is included, from the first look at the label to the hanger on the way home.

• Cleaning. We read the care label and use the process it asks for, so a silk blouse and a cotton shirt are not treated the same way.
• Pressing. Steamed by hand, one piece at a time, rather than run through a machine press.
• Checks. Buttons, seams and marks are looked at before and after cleaning.
• Hangers. Your clothes come back hanging, ready for the wardrobe.
• Covers. Breathable bags protect each piece on the way back, so nothing sits in plastic.
• Delivery. Pickup and return to your City Walk building cost nothing.

1. List what you are sending. Write the items on WhatsApp, such as two shirts and one suit, and mention your City Walk building and the entrance so the driver knows where to come.
2. Note any marks. Tell us where a stain is and what caused it, and which items need extra care.
3. Leave them out. Pop them in a bag at your door, or at reception if your building has one. There is no need to fold them neatly.
4. We clean and press. Each piece is cleaned by its label, steamed and hung up.
5. They come back hanging. Delivered to the same spot, with the hangers on and a cover over each one.

The list is simple: anything you wear to work, to a dinner or to a family event and want to look sharp. Most of it is one of these.

• Shirts and blouses. Cotton, poly or a blend, long or short sleeves. Send them all and we sort them by fabric.
• Trousers and jeans. With or without a crease, so tell us which you prefer.
• Suits. Jacket and trousers together, so they match when they come back.
• Dresses and skirts. Everyday or smart, in most fabrics.
• Kanduras. Each one is cleaned and pressed as a single item, with a price of its own.
• Ghutras and gathras. Cleaned and pressed with care, so the cloth keeps its shape.
• Abayas. Basic or delicate, priced to match, with heat set by the label.
• Jalabiyas and kurtas. For the home or for going out, men's and women's.

• Clean already, only creased? Pressing only skips the wash, so you pay for the smoothing and nothing else.
• Delicate, beaded or silk? Dry cleaning follows the care label and takes extra care with trims.
• Everyday clothes that do not need hangers? The wash and fold bag is far better value for a pile of T-shirts.

The little dots inside the iron symbol on a care label tell you how hot a garment can safely be pressed. Knowing them helps you decide what to send. We follow the label on every piece, whatever you choose, and tell you if something cannot take heat. These are general laundry rules, and your own label always comes first.

• One dot. Low heat, for acrylics, silk and many delicate fabrics. These pieces are pressed gently.
• Two dots. Medium heat, for wool, polyester and most blends. Most work shirts sit here.
• Three dots. High heat, for cotton and linen, which can take a hot press.
• Crossed-out symbol. No pressing at all. Tell us when you book and we will keep that piece away from heat.

No label left? Send us a photo of the fabric and the piece, and we will suggest the safest option.

City Walk is a partly pedestrianised neighbourhood, so telling us exactly where to meet the driver helps. Give us a building name and an entrance, and that is usually all we need.

• Your building. Share the name and the entrance, and we send the driver there.
• A landmark. Name the nearest one, such as Central Park or the Coca-Cola Arena, if the entrance is hard to describe.
• Beside City Walk. We also cover Al Wasl, the community around it, with the same free pickup.

Everything is covered by the same prices, as you can see in our areas list, and the driving is free.

Most Clean & Press orders are back within 24 hours. That covers shirts, trousers, kanduras and plain abayas. Pieces marked delicate can take longer, because they need a gentler process and more time to dry. How long depends on the piece, and we tell you at pickup.

For something you need tonight, book before 2 PM and ask for express. It returns an order 5 hours after pickup, but only where your address is covered, so send your building and entrance first and we will confirm. After 2 PM the order becomes a next-day booking.

• Collar and cuff marks. These build up over a week of wear. Say which shirts have them and we will treat them before cleaning.
• Deodorant and sweat. Pale patches under the arms are hard to shift if they have been left a while, so flag them early.
• Ink and pen. Note which pocket it came from, and the type of pen if you know it.
• Coffee and food. Tell us how long ago it happened, because fresh marks lift far better than old ones.
• Sun cream. It can leave an oily mark on white fabric, so mention it for any summer shirts.

A Bed & Bath price covers the whole wash for that item, from collection to delivery. A duvet cover, for example, costs AED 31. You are not billed by weight, and there are no extra charges beyond the listed price for the size you send.

• Collection. Free, from your City Walk building, on a time you choose.
• Washing. In large machines that give bulky items room to move, so a duvet is not squashed into a small drum.
• Drying. Slow and thorough, which matters most for anything filled with feathers or fibre.
• Folding. Done by hand once everything is completely dry.
• Delivery. Free, back to the spot you chose when you booked.
• Bed linen wash and fold. Sheets and pillowcases come back clean and neatly folded, with no pressing unless you ask for it.

The price you see is the price on your bill, with no hidden fees. Send a photo of anything unusual and we will check the label with you. Duvet and comforter laundering is where most people get surprised by how long the drying takes, so book early if you need it back for a certain night.

1. Count your items. Add up the sheets, pillowcases, duvets and towels from every room, so the total is clear before you book.
2. Message your building. Send the building name and entrance on WhatsApp, with the list of items.
3. Choose a time. Pick a collection slot that suits you and mention if you will be out.
4. Leave it ready. Bag everything up at your door, or at reception if your building has one.
5. Wait for the return. Allow 48 to 72 hours for thick pieces such as duvets.

You can add shirts or a wash and fold bag to the same pickup if you like, so the driver makes only one visit to your door.

A duvet of any size up to king is AED 56. A standard blanket is AED 26 and a bedcover is AED 29. The big pieces are the ones that are hardest to wash at home, and that is where we help most.

• Duvets. Single, double and king all cost the same. Our duvet and comforter laundering takes 48 to 72 hours, because filling dries slowly.
• Comforters. Stitched ones are washed on their own, without a cover, and dried right through.
• Blankets. Standard sizes have one price, and larger ones cost more. Mention the size when you book.
• Bedcovers. Top covers are washed gently and returned folded.

Check the care label on anything unusual and tell us about it when you book, so we can pick the right wash.

Bed sheets are AED 25 each, whether flat or fitted. A pillowcase is AED 9, a pillow is AED 19 and a mattress protector is AED 35. Add them up before you book to see your total.

• Sheets. Strip every bed and bag the sheets together. Fitted and flat sheets cost the same, which makes counting easy.
• Pillowcases. Count them, as each is priced separately.
• Pillows. Washed and dried one at a time, so allow extra days. Check the care label first.
• Protectors. A mattress protector needs room in the drum, so it goes in its own load.

Towels cost AED 7 each and a bathrobe is AED 19. Our towel laundry service covers the bathroom, the gym and the pool. A regular sofa cover is AED 46 and a table cloth is AED 19.

• Bath towels. Washed and dried until they are soft and fluffy again.
• Pool and gym towels. Send them soon after use, since damp towels go musty quickly in a warm flat, and Dubai's summer humidity averages over 90 percent.
• Bathrobes. Towelling robes are priced one by one and come back folded.
• Sofa covers. Removable covers can go in the same pickup as your bedding.
• Table linen. Cloths are washed and returned folded.
• Bath mats. They are on the full price list, so ask if you want them added.

Count your pieces before you pack them, so the total on your booking matches what you send. Beach and pool towels from the weekend can go in the same bag as your bath towels, and each one is priced the same way.

Not everything is made for a washing machine. If it is on this list, tell us first, and we will say what to do.

• Foam pillows and cushions. Some fillings break down in water.
• Anything marked dry clean only. Those pieces belong with dry cleaning.
• Leather and suede covers. These need special care.
• Items with electric parts. Heated blankets, for example, are not suitable.
• Very old or fragile pieces. A delicate heirloom throw may be too fragile for any machine.

A duvet holds a lot of air and filling, and that filling takes a long time to dry right through. If it is rushed, the middle stays damp and starts to smell. Dubai's humidity does not help either, because summer humidity averages over 90 percent.

• Slow drying. We dry on a low heat for as long as it takes.
• A final check. Each duvet is folded only once it is fully dry.

If you host guests in City Walk, Airbnb laundry is set up for quick linen turnarounds. Otherwise, book bedding a few days before you need it.
