Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery at La Ville City Walk

One flat-rate laundry bag holds up to 6kg of everyday clothes, and that is the whole price. It does not matter whether the bag holds eight T-shirts or twenty pairs of socks. Wash and fold is the budget-friendly way to handle a week of travel washing at La Ville City Walk, because you never count items.

• Good for the bag: T-shirts, shorts, jeans, underwear, socks, pyjamas, gym kit and swimwear.
• Better as separate items: work shirts, suits, dresses and traditional wear, which are priced one by one under Clean & Press.
• Too much for one bag: ask for the 12kg bag, or send two.

Choosing the bag takes the guesswork out of the price, and you will know the total before you hand it to the driver.

When your bag reaches our laundry, we sort it before anything goes in a machine. Whites, colours and darker pieces are kept apart so colours do not run, and fine fabrics are separated from heavy ones.

• Your own machine: your clothes are not mixed with another customer's.
• Hypoallergenic detergent: chosen for sensitive skin, and biodegradable.
• Care labels read: a cool or gentle wash when a label asks for it.
• Stains treated first: marks are dealt with by hand before the wash, so tell us what caused them.

The drum is sanitised after every cycle, so the next load starts clean.

Clothes are dried on low heat, which keeps cotton from shrinking and stretchy fabrics from going stiff. Once dry, each item is folded and packed in a clean bag.

• Folded, not hung: everything in the wash and fold bag comes back neatly folded.
• Standard turnaround: back within 24 hours of pickup.
• Need it sooner? Ask about express. Book before 2 PM and we aim for 5 hours, if your address is covered.

For anything that has to hang, such as a shirt you plan to wear to dinner, add it to Clean & Press instead.

For hotel laundry pickup, our driver meets you in the lobby at La Ville City Walk, if the hotel allows it. You hand over the bag, the driver checks the items with you, and we text a secure payment link to your phone.

• No cash: you never pay in the lobby.
• Contactless pickup and delivery: hand over and receive the bag at the door, with no more than a quick check.

When your clothes are ready, the driver brings them back to the same place.

If you are at La Ville City Walk for a week or more, one bag does not have to be your only bag. A simple way to do it is to send a first bag early in the stay and another a few days later, so you are never short of clean clothes.

• Business trip: send shirts and trousers on Monday, pick up what you need by Wednesday.
• Holiday: swimwear and kids' clothes go together in one bag, which is easy to share between family members.
• Layover: if you leave tomorrow, ask about express so your clothes are back before check-out.

Book on WhatsApp whenever you are ready. We confirm the pickup time with you before the driver leaves.

It is tempting to rinse a few things in the sink and dry them outside, but Dubai's balcony rules ban airing laundry outside. Breaking those rules can bring a fine, and the heat does not help.

• Summer heat: July and August highs average above 43 C.
• Humidity: in summer it averages over 90%, so damp clothes take a long time to dry in a room.
• Hotel rooms: there is little space to dry anything properly.

It is easier to hand the bag to the driver, and get back clothes that are dry and folded. That is a same-day laundry service for the people who cannot wait, and next-day laundry service for the rest of us.

If you are living at the hotel for a month, or visit La Ville City Walk often, a plan means one price and one pickup day for the whole month.

• Essential: one bag a week, four in the month, for AED 250.
• Family: two bags a week, eight in the month, for AED 450.
• One-off bag: AED 65 whenever you need it.

A short message before the driver arrives helps us look after your clothes properly. You do not need to write much.

• Stains: what caused them, and where on the piece.
• Delicate pieces: silk, lace, wool or anything you would hand wash.
• Pockets: empty them, and keep anything valuable with you.
• How you like it: any special requests for folding or sorting.

Items that are already damaged, or that have no care label, are cleaned at your own risk. Everything else is covered if it is lost or damaged, up to 10 times the cleaning price of that item.

The price on each line is what you pay for that item. Stain treatment, the hanger and the cover are included, so the laundry price per item on this page is the one you see on the payment link.

• Checked first: we read the label, empty the pockets and look the piece over with you at pickup.
• Cleaned the right way: cottons in a cool wash, delicate pieces by the process their label asks for.
• Dried in filtered air: no hot tumble drying that would pucker a collar.
• Pressed by hand: collars, cuffs and pleats, one at a time.

Then it goes on a hanger and into a breathable cover, ready to hang in your room.

Guests at La Ville City Walk often stay for conferences, weddings and creative meetings, and a creased suit is the last thing you want to wear to one. Send it the day before and it comes back ready.

• Two-piece suit: jacket and trousers priced together.
• Jacket only: if the trousers are fine.
• Tie: goes in with the suit and returns pressed flat.

If you are in a hurry, ask about express suit pressing. Book before 2 PM and we aim for 5 hours, if your address is covered.

Traditional wear has its own price list, separate from shirts and suits. A kandura is priced as a kandura, and an abaya depends on whether it is plain or delicate.

• Kandura or thobe: AED 15.
• Ghutra: priced as a gathra on our list.
• Abaya: a basic abaya is AED 18, and a delicate one is priced separately.
• Jalabiya and kurta: each has its own line on the price table.

Tell us if a piece is beaded or embroidered when you book. We will check it with you at pickup.

Standard orders come back within 24 hours. If a flight or a ceremony is close, tell us the deadline when you book and we will say whether express fits.

For urgent pieces, book before 2 PM and we aim for 5 hours, if your address is covered. Ask us on WhatsApp whether City Walk is in the area.

Clean and press orders are collected like any other booking at La Ville City Walk, and the driver meets you in the lobby if the hotel allows it. Pieces are returned on hangers, so tell us where you would like them delivered.

• Check at pickup: the driver goes through each item with you.
• Payment by link: we text a secure link after the check. No cash or cards change hands in the lobby.
• Delivery: clothes go out as soon as the link is paid.

Keep the hangers in the covers until you are ready to wear the piece. That keeps the creases out.

Silk blouses, evening dresses and fine fabrics need to be cleaned the way their label says. We read every label first, and ask you if we are unsure.

• Delicate items: may take a little longer, depending on the piece.
• No label: we clean the piece at your own risk.
• Existing damage: also cleaned at your own risk.

If something is lost or damaged by us, the cover is up to 10 times the cleaning price of that item.

Sometimes a shirt is clean but crumpled from a suitcase. Pressing only skips the wash and steam presses the piece by hand, so it is back faster and costs less. Send us a list of what needs pressing and the driver will collect it.

If an item is lost or damaged while it is with us, we cover up to 10 times the cleaning price of that item. Items that are already damaged, or that have no care label, are cleaned at your own risk.

You pay only by a secure link texted to your phone after the driver checks your items. It takes debit and credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Nothing is paid in cash, and nothing is paid in the lobby.
