Al Satwa laundry, washed and folded for one bag price
Pack the everyday washing from your home in Al Satwa into flat-rate laundry bags. There's no counting of pieces. Back at our laundry we separate lights from darks, wash gently, dry on low heat and fold every piece by hand. So it works as a next-day laundry service, because bags from Al Satwa usually come home inside 24 hours, as they do across Dubai.

What happens to a bag from Al Satwa
All bags collected in Al Satwa follow the same steps. We don't hurry a full bag, and a light one gets the same care.
- Pockets: tissues, pens, coins and hair ties come out first. A single pen can ruin a load.
- Colour sorting: white T-shirts and light shorts go in together, black leggings and dark gym tops go in another load, and lace and mesh get a cooler, softer wash.
- Stain work: sun cream, grass and juice are treated first, because heat from the dryer can lock a mark in.
- Washing: biodegradable, hypoallergenic detergent and a thorough rinse. Clothes come back smelling clean rather than perfumed.
- Drying: low heat, so T-shirts stay the right size and elastic keeps its spring.
- Folding: by hand, with a last look at each piece before packing it for the ride to Al Satwa.
Folded clothes go straight in a drawer. For a crisp collar, or a kandura that needs to hang, choose Clean & Press.
Booking a pickup in Al Satwa
- Send a WhatsApp. Attach a map pin and give your building or house number. Al Satwa is built up and its streets are close together, so a pin saves the driver time. If your building asks for visitor details, tell us and we'll pass them on. No app needed.
- Pack your bag. Everyday clothes only. Check the pockets and write your surname and flat or house number on the bag.
- We collect. At your door or the building entrance, whichever you prefer. There's no charge.
- We wash. Clothes are sorted, washed carefully, dried on a cool setting and folded by hand.
- We return it. You'll get a WhatsApp as the van leaves for Al Satwa. Delivery costs nothing either.
Shirts you want on hangers? Pack them in a separate bag for Clean & Press and mention it in your message. One driver collects both bags.
What can go in a bag from Al Satwa
Our test is easy: would it go in your own machine? Then it can go in our bag. A label saying hand wash only or do not wash means it stays home. A bag from Al Satwa can hold:
- Sports kit: shorts, polos, leggings and sports socks from the gym or a game.
- Everyday clothes: T-shirts, trousers, jeans and casual shirts.
- Summer wear: cotton dresses, linen shirts and shorts. In July and August Dubai's highs average over 43°C, so these are in the wash constantly.
- Swimwear: swimsuits, trunks and children's rash vests. Rinse and dry them before they go in.
- School and play clothes: uniforms, pyjamas and weekend clothes, with the zips done up.
- Light layers: a hoodie or thin jumper for the cooler months, when January days reach about 22°C.
What to book under another service
The bag is for everyday clothes, nothing else. Everything below we can clean too, at its own price, and one driver takes it all from your door in Al Satwa on a single visit.
- Work shirts, kanduras, abayas and suits: priced per piece in Clean & Press and returned on hangers.
- Silk, wool, sequins and beading: these dislike water, so choose dry cleaning.
- Bath, beach and pool towels: these are counted one by one in Bed & Bath, not bagged.
- Hand-wash knits and underwired bras: please leave these at home. Unsure about one? Photograph the label for us and we'll let you know.
- Trainers, rugs and curtains: each has its own card higher up this page.
What each load from Al Satwa goes through
Most of the care happens at the sorting table, long before water touches anything. Here is what every load from Al Satwa gets.
- Colours: new dark jeans and bright tops run for their first few washes, so they never share a drum with whites.
- Weight: heavy denim and zips scuff thin tops and cause bobbling, so heavy and light items go in separate loads.
- One customer per machine: your load has the drum to itself, and no one else's clothes go in with it.
- Sanitised between loads: once your clothes are out we clean the drum, and only then does the next customer's load go in.
- Detergent: commercial-grade yet biodegradable and hypoallergenic. A long rinse follows, since leftover soap in a gym top itches on a sticky day.
- Low-heat drying: too much heat shrinks cotton and tires out elastic. Before folding, we feel the cuffs, seams and waistbands for any damp.
- A last check: a loose button or a stain that stayed means a WhatsApp message from us.
Collection across and beside Al Satwa
Our vans work all over Dubai, and that includes every street in Al Satwa. Collection and delivery are free.
- In Al Satwa: the area lies south-west of Bur Dubai, with Jumeirah to the north and Sheikh Zayed Road along its southern edge. Send a pin and the driver comes straight to your door.
- Buildings with reception: if yours has a front desk, we can leave or collect the bag there, provided the desk agrees.
- Next door: Al Wasl lies just west of Al Satwa, with the same free pickup. See laundry in Al Wasl.
- Across Bur Dubai: we also collect in Bur Dubai, Al Karama and Oud Metha.
Your street not named here? A pin is all we need, or browse the areas page.
A weekly collection plan for Al Satwa
Sending washing every week from Al Satwa? A monthly plan gives you budget-friendly wash and fold. Your bags are collected on one fixed weekday, so nothing needs rebooking, and each plan bag works out cheaper than a one-off bag.
- Essential: AED 250 a month buys four bags, one every week. It suits one or two people.
- Family: AED 450 a month buys eight bags, two every week, with space for uniforms, sports kit and swimwear.
- Pay as you go: AED 65 a bag, only in the weeks you need one.
Pick a weekday and the driver arrives at your door in Al Satwa on that day every week. Setting it up takes one WhatsApp message.
Return days, express and stain tips for Al Satwa
Most bags from Al Satwa are home within 24 hours, which is the usual turnaround across Dubai.
Want it the same day? Book express laundry delivery before 2 PM. If we cover your address, the bag returns 5 hours after pickup, so it works as a same-day laundry service. Check in the chat first that your street is on the express list.
- Tell us the stain: it might be sun cream round a collar, a coffee splash on linen or grass on football shorts. Say what it is and where.
- Tell us what you tried: bleach, hot water and stain sprays can set a mark and leave us fewer options.
- Dry things first: in summer heat a wet swimsuit or sweaty top will smell by the next day inside a closed bag, so hang it up before packing.
Shirts and kanduras from Al Satwa, returned on hangers

We clean each piece according to its care label, then steam it by hand until the creases are gone. A shirt is AED 18 and a kandura is AED 15. Collection is free from every street, and most orders are back within 24 hours.

What the price covers
The price you see is the whole price of a shirt from Al Satwa. Stain treatment, the hanger and the cover are all in it.
- A first look: pockets emptied, care label read, loose buttons noted.
- Stains by hand: marks are treated before washing, since warm water can fix them in place.
- Cleaned as the label says: cotton and blends go in on a cool setting so they keep their size, and fabrics needing special cleaning get it.
- Dried on hangers: in clean air, with no tumble dryer, so the sleeves don't shrink.
- A set steaming order: the collar and cuffs, followed by the button panel and then the body.
- Three final checks before it is covered and goes back to you in Al Satwa.
Sending shirts and suits from Al Satwa
- Tell us what you have. A short note is plenty, for example "two suits, a kandura and six work shirts". Include your address in Al Satwa and your crease preference.
- Use two bags. Keep clothes for hanging apart from folded washing so each reaches the right service.
- We collect, free of charge. At your door or the building entrance. If reception wants visitor details, pass them on.
- One piece at a time. Each garment is finished before we start the next.
- Returned on hangers. Most orders are back the next day, as across Dubai, covered and ready to hang up.
What homes in Al Satwa send on hangers
Ask yourself whether it will crease on the way to the office. If it will, it belongs in clean and press. Typical pieces from Al Satwa are:
- Shirts for work: poplin, twill or oxford cotton, with the collar done first.
- Blouses and skirts: thin viscose or crepe, which crumple as you sit.
- Suits and chinos: wool or cotton blends, with jackets shaped on a form so the lapels lie flat.
- Kanduras and thobes: mostly white cotton or poly-cotton, steamed so the front hangs smooth from the neck down.
- Ghutras: smoothed flat on a table. How you fold it is your choice.
- Abayas and jalabiyas: steam only, so black georgette and crepe keep their matt finish. Want a shayla added? Ask in the chat for its price.
- Kurta sets: the top and the trousers are booked on one ticket and come back together.
- School shirts: send them ahead of photo day for sharp collars.
When to choose a different service
- Washed at home, but creased? Pressing takes the creases out with no second wash.
- Silk, lace, beads, sequins or heavy wool? Water is hard on these, so dry cleaning is the safer choice.
- T-shirts, socks, pyjamas and gym shorts? Those go in a drawer, so send them by the bag through Wash & Fold.
Not sure about a piece? Take a picture of the care label and WhatsApp it to us. We'll reply long before the driver is on the way to Al Satwa.
Reading the dots on a care label
Look for the heat symbol on a care label. The dots inside it set the limit, and our steamers never go beyond it. Cotton and linen carry three dots (about 200°C). Wool, silk and polyester blends carry two (about 150°C). Acrylic and other synthetics carry one (about 110°C). A crossed-out symbol means steam and no hot plate.
- Dark crepe stays off the hot plate: a hot plate would leave a shiny patch, so we steam black abayas and dark trousers instead.
- Collars and cuffs get the most time: they're what people see first.
- Your preferred crease: sharp, soft or none, or flat-folded for a suitcase. Tell us once and it goes on your ticket.
- Covers that breathe: summer humidity in Dubai averages over 90%, and plastic holds damp against the shirt. Breathable covers keep dust out and let moisture out.
Pickup from any street in Al Satwa
We collect clothes on hangers from all of Al Satwa at no charge, the same as folded washing. The streets are built up and close together, so a precise address helps the driver.
How long clean and press takes in Al Satwa, and express
Clean and press orders from Al Satwa normally return the day after pickup, matching the 24 hours most of Dubai gets. Delicate pieces can take longer. How long depends on the piece, and we'll tell you at booking.
Is a shirt needed tonight? Choose express before 2 PM and it's back on a hanger 5 hours after we collect it, as long as your address is inside the express area. Some are not, so send your building and street first and we'll check.
Marks we often see from Al Satwa, and what to tell us
- Yellow collars: highs above 43°C in July and August mean sweat soaks white collars and kandura necks. The sooner they reach us, the better they come out.
- Grass marks: chinos pick them up in the park. Let the marks dry and point them out to us.
- Deodorant marks: they look white on dark cloth and yellow on pale cloth. Say which you have, as the treatment differs.
- Perfume and oud oil: these can leave a ring on light cotton. Point to the ring and say which oil it was, if you remember.
- Anything else: a loose button, no crease at all, or shirts folded for a suitcase. Write it in the chat.
Duvets, sheets and towels from Al Satwa, priced per item
One king duvet can fill a home washing machine by itself. For homes in Al Satwa we also take pillows, sheets, comforters, bathrobes, mattress protectors and pool towels, and nothing goes on a scale. A sheet is AED 25, a towel AED 7 and a duvet AED 56, and collection costs nothing. Duvets, comforters and blankets count as bulky item washing. They take 48 to 72 hours, and we set the return day when you book.

- Priced per piece, never weighed
- Big drums that take a king duvet
- Thick duvets back in 2 to 3 days
- Biodegradable detergent that is gentle on skin

What's included in each price
One price covers the lot: pickup at your door in Al Satwa, the cleaning and the return trip. Our bed linen wash and fold handles sheets and pillowcases. We wash each piece, dry it through to the seams, fold it flat and charge for it separately. Small items are not rushed; they just dry faster.
- Hand-checked: corners, seams and anything you pointed out.
- A sanitised machine of your own: bedding never shares a drum. A large duvet needs space, because crammed in, it ends up wet on the outside and dry in the centre.
- Detergent: hypoallergenic and biodegradable, which counts most for pillowcases that touch your face.
- Checked at the core: we reach deep into each duvet and keep drying until the centre feels like the edges. Covers feel dry before the filling does, so we trust touch rather than a timer.
- Fully dry before packing: only then does it head back to Al Satwa.
Duvet covers are AED 31 extra. We remove the cover and wash it by itself.
Booking a bedding collection in Al Satwa
- Send your list. For instance "three king duvets, spare room sheets and pool towels", together with your address in Al Satwa and a pin.
- We set the times: you get a collection time and a return day.
- Bag it up. Roll every duvet tightly into a bag of its own. Sheets and towels may share a bag.
- We collect, no charge. We come to your door or the building entrance. If reception needs visitor details, send them early.
- Follow it on WhatsApp. We update you in the chat until it is all back.
We answer the chat day and night. Visitors arriving tomorrow and the spare beds still bare? A last-minute booking is no problem.
Duvets, comforters, blankets and bedspreads
Any duvet or comforter, from single to king, is AED 56. The types are checked a little differently.
- Duvet: a plain shell filled loosely, which sits in a cover. The cover comes off first and is priced as a separate item.
- Comforter: quilted, often patterned, and used on its own. Each stitched pocket dries at its own speed, so we go through the rows by hand.
- Blanket: AED 26 for a standard size, more for bigger ones.
- Bedcover: AED 29. A bedcover collects dust, and when a shamal wind blows, desert sand finds its way indoors in Al Satwa too. Please mention fringes, tassels or beads.
See a split seam or filling coming out? Send a photo before booking and we'll tell you what we can do.
Sheets, pillows and mattress protectors from Al Satwa
Linen is what wears first, since sheets and pillowcases get changed more often than duvets, particularly in summer.
- Sheets: AED 25 each, flat or fitted. Turn fitted sheets inside out, as socks and hair ties love to hide in the elastic corners.
- Pillowcases: AED 9 each. Sun cream and after-sun leave oily marks on cotton. Show us where and don't rub them.
- Pillows: AED 19 each. Squash one in half and let go. A pillow that stays folded has lost its filling, and washing can't restore it. Memory foam must never be washed.
- Mattress protectors: AED 35. Heat can crack a waterproof backing, so send us a photo of the label before booking.
Doing every bed on the same day? Note which sheets belong to which room, and you can check them off when they return.
A towel laundry service for Al Satwa, from bathroom to pool
Towels go stiff when soap stays in the loops, so each one is rinsed twice and dried right through. A towel is AED 7 and a bathrobe is AED 19.
- Pool towels: swim, then send the towel that day. A wet towel shut in a bag overnight turns smelly.
- Gym towels: a small gym towel is full of sweat by the end of a session. Hang it up for a while before you pack it.
- Robes: the thick collar is the slowest part to dry, so we check it last. Tie the belt through a sleeve so it stays with the robe.
- Sofa covers: AED 46 for a standard cover that zips off. Put a number on each cushion before removing the covers, so they go back in the right place.
- Tablecloths: AED 19. If dinner left a spill, let it dry and tell us whether it was red wine, cooking oil or gravy.
Keep wet towels away from duvets in your bag. Damp spreads into filling quickly in a Dubai summer.
Things we can't put in a machine
Some things can't go in any washing machine. Please keep them at home in Al Satwa:
- Electric blankets and anything with a plug or a heating wire.
- Memory foam pillows and mattress toppers.
- Weighted blankets that hold glass or plastic beads.
- Anything with a crossed-out washtub on its label. Not sure? Send a photo of the label and we'll answer before a driver is on the road to Al Satwa.
Clothes have their own bookings. Jeans, gym kit and everyday wear go by the bag in Wash & Fold, while shirts and abayas on hangers go to Clean & Press. Use one bag per service and a single trip collects them all. There is also a home linen guide with advice on each kind of bedding.
Why duvets from Al Satwa need two to three days
With duvet and comforter laundering, drying is the slow job. Down, feather and polyester hold water deep inside long after the outside feels dry, and a damp duvet in a cupboard goes musty, air conditioning or not.
- 48 to 72 hours: thick bedding spends this long with us after pickup. The surface dries first, so we wait until the core feels the same.
- A return day you know in advance: we confirm it in the chat at booking.
This tab covers your own beds. Running a holiday let? Linen between guests is on the Airbnb laundry page.
Al Satwa and the areas around it
All of Al Satwa is covered, with no charge for collection or delivery.
- At your door: the driver collects from your front door or building entrance. If reception wants visitor details, sort that out in advance. A pin speeds things up, because the streets in Al Satwa sit close together.
- Neighbouring areas: Al Wasl, Bur Dubai, Al Karama and Oud Metha each have their own page.
- Wondering if your street is covered? Drop a pin in the chat and we'll look.
Prices don't depend on address. A king duvet costs the same from Al Satwa as from a flat in the Marina.

Al Satwa laundry, answered
What does your laundry service in Al Satwa cover?
Two services, each with free collection and delivery. Message us on WhatsApp with your address in Al Satwa and a time that suits. Wash and fold is for everyday clothes and gym kit. They go in a bag and come back folded. Clean & Press deals with kanduras, abayas, shirts and dresses piece by piece, returning them hanging.
- A flat price per bag, a set price per hung item
- Your load has its own machine, sanitised after use
- If you only need creases out, see the Pressing page
Is there a laundry service near me in Al Satwa?
Yes, and it comes to you. Searching laundry service near me mostly turns up shops where you carry the bag yourself. We collect from your home in Al Satwa and bring it back, with no charge for either trip. We only need your address and a map pin.
- Drop a map pin so the driver arrives first time
- Pickup and delivery are both free
- Chat on WhatsApp, with no app to install
Can I get same-day laundry in Al Satwa?

- Send your street and we'll confirm express reaches it
- Duvets and heavy throws need 48 to 72 hours
- Delicate pieces may need longer
How much is wash and fold in Al Satwa?
You pay one flat price per bag. A 6kg bag costs the same whether it is stuffed or loose, and the 12kg bag holds a bigger load. Hanging clothes are priced piece by piece, and orders start at AED 50. Collection and return are free, and the bill has no hidden fees.
- Regular washers can choose a plan: Essential has four bags a month, Family eight

- Begin with your address and a pin
- Add any visitor details to the same chat

Can I put swimwear and gym clothes in my bag?
Yes, swimwear and gym clothes are fine with your everyday wash. Let wet items dry first, because a damp bag begins to smell in Dubai's heat. Please turn sports tops inside out and flag any sweat stains. Stretchy fabrics are tumbled on low heat to protect the elastic.
- Dry swimwear before it goes in the bag
- Sports tops inside out
- Flag sweat stains in your booking
Do my clothes come back pressed?
Clean & Press pieces do, but a wash and fold bag comes back folded. Kanduras, shirts, abayas and dresses are cleaned as their labels direct, then steamed by hand and put on hangers. - Clean & Press means steamed and hung
- Wash and fold means folded in the bag
- Only creased? The Pressing page may fit better
Can you clean kanduras and abayas?
Yes. Both are Clean & Press items, priced individually. We follow each care label, steam by hand and send them home hanging. Kanduras and plain abayas take 24 hours as standard, while abayas marked delicate on our price list need extra care and can take longer. We give you the time at pickup.

- Collected at your door at no charge

How should I send sheets from every bedroom?
Use the 12kg bag, which takes sheets from several beds. Strip the beds, fold the sheets and pillowcases loosely, and pack them in the bigger bag. They come home washed and folded, ready for the cupboard. A second bag is no problem, as one pickup collects both.
- Duvets and comforters need 48 to 72 hours
- Towels can go in the same bag
- One pickup covers all your bags
Is the detergent gentle enough for baby clothes?
Yes, it is hypoallergenic and biodegradable. Baby clothes and cot sheets from Al Satwa are washed with the same care as everything else. The detergent is commercial-grade but leaves little scent, which helps young skin. Each load runs in a machine of its own, which we sanitise afterwards.
- Every customer gets a machine to themselves
- The drum is sanitised between customers
- Mention any allergy when you book
