Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery in Bur Dubai

This is the route every Bur Dubai bag takes.

• Pockets: empty them. A pen left behind can mark the whole drum.
• Colours: whites and pale items together, darks and jeans in a second load, lace and mesh on a cooler setting.
• Stains: coffee, sun cream and make-up are treated before the wash, since a dryer sets them for good.
• Detergent: hypoallergenic and biodegradable, with a thorough rinse so clothes smell clean and not perfumed.
• Drying: low heat, so cotton keeps its size and elastic keeps its stretch.
• Folding: by hand, with a last look at each piece, then the bag goes back to Bur Dubai.

A good test is whether you'd put it in your own washing machine. Hand-wash-only and do-not-wash items stay out. Typical contents from a Bur Dubai flat:

Sorting each load before it goes in the drum protects your clothes. These are the things we look out for.

• New denim and bright cotton may release dye in early washes, so they never go with whites.
• Denim and metal zips can rub fine fabrics, so they get a load of their own.
• Your order has a machine to itself, and we sanitise the drum between customers.
• The detergent is commercial-grade, hypoallergenic and biodegradable. Gym kit is rinsed thoroughly, since sweat hides in seams.
• Strong heat shrinks cotton and tires elastic. Before folding we check that cuffs, seams and waistbands have dried.
• If we spot a loose button or a mark that stayed, we message you before the bag goes back.

Collection and delivery are free in Bur Dubai, Al Hamriya, Al Raffa and Umm Hurair.

Sending a bag nearly every week? Then a budget-friendly wash and fold plan works out cheaper than single bags, and your pickup stays on the same weekday so you needn't rebook.

• Essential is AED 250 a month for four bags, one per week. One or two people will manage with it.
• Family is AED 450 a month for eight bags, two per week, with space for uniforms, gym kit and office clothes.
• Single bags stay at AED 65 when you only need one now and then.

A bag collected in Bur Dubai is generally back the next day, inside the 24 hours we give most of Dubai.

For an earlier return, ask for our same-day laundry service. Book before 2 PM for express laundry delivery, and when your address is covered it's home within 5 hours of collection. Message us first and we'll check.

• Point out stains: sun cream, juice or coffee, and where on the garment.
• Say what you've tried: bleach, spray or hot water may have set the mark.
• Hang damp gym kit up for an hour first. In this heat, wet clothes in a closed bag go off fast.

The price of a shirt from Bur Dubai is the whole price. The hanger, the cover and any stain treatment are in it.

• Check in: your list is matched against what we collect, and each care label is read. Loose buttons are noted.
• Stains first: we deal with them by hand before heat is used, so they can't set.
• Right method: cotton shirts get a cool wash to stop shrinking, and finer cloth gets what its label asks for.
• Dried in the air: we don't tumble dry, so sleeves keep their length.
• Steaming order: collar, cuffs, then body and sleeves.
• Final checks: three of them, before the cover goes on and the order returns to Bur Dubai.

Send a garment for clean and press if it looks better hanging than folded. In a Bur Dubai wardrobe, that usually means:

• Blouses and skirts in crepe or viscose. They crumple if left in a drawer.
• Suits and chinos in wool or cotton blends. We steam jackets on a form to keep lapels flat.
• Kanduras and thobes, mostly white cotton. The front panel gets special attention.
• Ghutras, laid flat and smoothed so you can fold them as you like.
• Abayas and jalabiyas. Steam alone keeps crepe and georgette an even black. Ask on WhatsApp for a shayla price.
• Kurta sets, kept together as a pair.

• Already clean but creased? Book pressing and skip the second wash.
• Silk, lace, thick wool, beads or sequins? Dry cleaning suits them better.
• T-shirts, gym kit, socks, pyjamas? Use a Wash & Fold bag.

Every care label has a heat symbol, and the dots inside it set the limit. We keep our steamer under that limit every time. Three dots means up to about 200°C, so cotton and linen are fine. Two dots, about 150°C, covers wool, silk and polyester blends. One dot, about 110°C, is for synthetics like acrylic. A crossed-out symbol means we use steam only, with no plate.

• Black crepe is only steamed. A hot plate can polish it to a shine, so black abayas and dark trousers never touch one.
• Collars and cuffs take longer because they show first.
• We keep your preferred crease (sharp, soft, none, or flat for travel) and use it on every order.
• Breathable covers let humid air out on the way back to Bur Dubai, where plastic would trap it.

Hanging clothes from Bur Dubai are normally back the day after pickup, which is the 24 hours we aim for across most of Dubai. Delicate cloth can need longer, depending on the piece. You'll hear the time when you book.

Is it for this evening? Book before 2 PM and ask for express. If your address is covered, you'll have the clothes 5 hours after we collect. Send your address and we'll let you know.

Mention any of these when you book, so we can plan the cleaning.

• Food or drink: tea, coffee, wine, sauce. Tell us which one it was.
• Make-up on collars, such as foundation or lipstick. Show us where.
• Sweat. In hot weather it yellows white collars and kandura necklines, and it comes out best when fresh.
• Deodorant. It leaves white marks on dark cloth and yellow ones on pale cloth, and each needs a different treatment.
• Perfume or oud oil. One drop can mark cream or white cotton. Give us the oil's name if you know it.

The price covers collecting from your Bur Dubai building, cleaning, and bringing the item home. With our bed linen wash and fold, sheets and pillowcases are returned folded and fully dry. A pillowcase is cleaned as carefully as a duvet but dries sooner.

A duvet or comforter from Bur Dubai costs AED 56 in any size from single to king. The types are cleaned differently.

• Duvets are the filled inner. The cover is separate and is washed apart from it.
• Comforters have stitched sections and no cover. Those sections dry at different speeds, so we feel each section before packing.
• Blankets cost AED 26 in a standard size, and more for larger ones.
• Bedcovers cost AED 29. They sit on top of the bed, so they collect dust, and sand when a shamal blows. Tell us about tassels, fringe or beads.

A split seam or loose filling? Send us a photo and we'll say whether washing is safe.

Of everything on a bed, sheets and pillowcases get washed the most, which is why they wear thin first in this climate. What each costs, and what to watch:

• Sheets are AED 25, flat or fitted. Small things like earrings end up in fitted corners.
• Pillowcases are AED 9. If hair oil or face cream has left a greasy patch, point to it instead of scrubbing.
• Pillows are AED 19. Washing can't fix a pillow that's gone lumpy, and memory foam must stay dry.
• Mattress protectors are AED 35. Strong heat damages the waterproof backing, so photograph the care label for us first.

Sending bedding from several rooms? Label each bundle with its room.

Our towel laundry service charges AED 7 a towel and AED 19 a bathrobe. Towels go hard when soap stays in the loops, so each gets two rinses and a full dry.

• Bath and pool towels turn sour in a sealed bag overnight, so don't wait too long to send them.
• Gym towels need to dry out before they're bagged.
• Bathrobe collars are thick and dry last, so we check them twice. Knot the belt round the robe.
• Regular zip-off sofa covers are AED 46. Mark which cushion each belongs to and shake off pet hair.
• Tablecloths are AED 19. Name the spill, and avoid rubbing it.

A wet towel packed beside a duvet will damp the filling, especially in humid weather.

Leave these out of your Bur Dubai bedding bag, as a washing machine isn't right for them:

• Electric blankets, heated throws and anything with a plug or cable.
• Weighted blankets with heavy beads inside.
• Pillows and mattress toppers made of memory foam.
• Anything marked do not wash. If you're not sure, photograph the label and we'll reply before pickup.

In duvet and comforter laundering, drying is the slow part. Covers dry quickly, but feather, down and polyester filling stay damp inside for hours, and that damp turns musty in a cupboard.

• 48 to 72 hours: thick bedding stays with us this long so the middle is as dry as the edges.
• The day it comes back: we confirm it on WhatsApp once you've booked.
