Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery at Grand Hyatt Dubai

Every bag follows the same steps once it leaves the hotel.

• Pockets: we check them. A forgotten pen or lip balm can mark a whole drum.
• Colours: whites and light clothes go together, darks and jeans in another load, and delicate fabrics on a cooler setting.
• Stains: sauce, sun cream and coffee are treated by hand before the wash.
• Detergent: hypoallergenic and biodegradable, rinsed well.
• Drying: on low heat, so cotton keeps its size.
• Folding: by hand, with a last look at each piece.

Then the bag is checked and sent back to the hotel.

1. Message us on WhatsApp with Grand Hyatt Dubai, your name and the time you would like pickup. No app is needed.
2. Meet the driver at the lobby or concierge, if the hotel allows it. The driver checks your items with you.
3. Pay the secure link we text you. It works with cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Please do not pay cash in the lobby.
4. Your clothes go out once the link is paid, and come back free.

If you would wash it in your own machine at home, it can go in. Typical bags for a hotel stay hold:

• T-shirts, polo shirts and casual tops
• Jeans, shorts and chinos
• Gym kit and swimwear
• Underwear, socks and sleepwear

Items marked hand wash only or do not wash stay out of the bag.

The bag is for everyday clothes only. Some pieces are better cleaned another way, and we do them under their own service and price.

• Suits, jackets and ties: these go in Clean & Press, where they are steamed and hung.
• Evening dresses, silk and beaded pieces: they need the slower dry cleaning process.
• Kanduras and abayas: these come back on hangers, so send them under Clean & Press.
• Shoes and handbags: we clean them separately, so list them in your message.

When in doubt, send a photo of the care label on WhatsApp.

Sorting before the wash protects clothes that have already travelled a long way. These are the things we look for.

• New dark denim can run, so it is washed with darks only.
• Gym kit and swimwear are dried on low heat to protect the stretch.
• White shirts and socks are kept away from bright colours.
• Thin tops and knits get a cooler wash.
• Zips are closed so they do not catch on other clothes.

Everything is dried by machine at a gentle heat. A thorough rinse keeps the scent light, so the bag smells clean and not perfumed. Your order has its own machine and a sanitised drum.

Collection and return are free at Grand Hyatt Dubai.

• Where: the lobby or concierge desk, if the hotel allows it. Some hotels prefer a different spot, so ask the front desk.
• When: choose a time that suits you in the chat.
• Nearby: we also collect from Dubai Healthcare City, Oud Metha and Al Jaddaf.

Staying a month or longer, for work or while you wait for a home? A budget-friendly wash and fold plan costs less than single bags, and pickup stays on the same weekday.

• Essential is AED 250 a month for four bags, one a week. It suits one person.
• Family is AED 450 a month for eight bags, two a week, for a couple or a family sharing a suite.
• One bag is AED 65, if that is all you need this week.

A bag collected at Grand Hyatt Dubai is normally back the next day, within the 24 hours we give for most of Dubai. If you fly out soon, tell us your departure time when you book.

For an earlier return, ask about same-day laundry service. Express can take 5 hours when booked before 2 PM, if your address is covered. Message us to confirm it.

Tell us about any stain too. These are worth mentioning:

• Coffee, wine and sauce from dinners
• Sun cream on collars
• Make-up and perfume on event clothes

The price shown for a shirt at the hotel is the whole price. Collection, delivery, cleaning, steaming and the hanger are all included.

• Cleaning: each piece is looked at for marks before it is cleaned.
• Steaming: by hand, at a heat the care label allows.
• Hanger and cover: your piece comes back ready to wear.
• Express: for urgent pieces, ask when you book.

2. Meet the driver at the lobby or concierge, if the hotel allows it, and check the items together.
3. Pay the secure link we text you, then your order goes out.

Send a piece for clean and press if it looks better hanging than folded. For a hotel stay, that usually means:

• Shirts and blouses: for meetings, interviews and dinners.
• Suits and jackets: for conferences and events in the hotel ballrooms.
• Evening dresses: for a wedding, gala or dinner out.
• Kanduras, abayas and ghutras: for weddings, family visits and Friday prayers.
• Trousers and skirts: to look sharp after a flight.
• Coats: for a cold-weather trip.

Each of these is priced on its own line in the table above.

• Clean already, only creased? Choose pressing and skip the wash.
• Silk, beads or heavy wool? Dry cleaning is the better fit.
• Tees, gym kit, socks? Put them in a Wash & Fold bag.

Every care label shows an iron symbol with dots inside. The dots set the heat limit, and we keep our steamer under it every time.

• One dot: low heat, used for silk, nylon and acetate.
• Two dots: medium heat, used for wool and polyester.
• Three dots: high heat, used for cotton and linen.
• No label: we cannot check the fabric. Those items are cleaned at your own risk.

Steaming also relaxes the creases a suitcase leaves, so pieces look fresh and not flattened. Tell us in the chat if a fabric looks fragile and we will check it twice.

Hanging clothes are collected and returned free at Grand Hyatt Dubai, at the lobby or concierge if the hotel allows it. We also cover Oud Metha, Dubai Healthcare City and Al Jaddaf.

Most pieces are back the day after pickup. That is the 24 hours we aim for in most of Dubai. Delicates may need longer, and we tell you the time at pickup.

Need express suit pressing for a meeting? Book before 2 PM and ask for 5 hours, if your address is covered. Message us on WhatsApp first so we can confirm it.

Tell us about any of these when you book, so we can plan the cleaning.

• Food or drink: coffee, tea, wine or sauce from a dinner.
• Sweat: yellow lines on collars after a hot day outdoors.
• Make-up and perfume: on shirt collars and evening dresses.
• Ink or oil: from pens, or from food.

A short note such as red wine on a cuff is enough. Items that were already damaged, or have no care label, are cleaned at your own risk.
