This is the route your bag takes once the driver has it, from the hotel lobby to the machines and back.

• Check: every piece is looked over for stains and read for its care label.
• Sort: whites and light colours go together, darks and jeans together, and delicate items on a cooler setting.
• Wash: mild detergent, rinsed well so nothing is left behind.
• Dry: on low heat, so cotton keeps its size and elastic keeps its stretch.
• Fold: by hand, with a last look at each piece, then the bag is packed for the trip back.

You get clothes that smell fresh and feel soft, not heavily perfumed.

Six kilograms is about a week of casual clothes for one traveller. Think of it as the contents of a small cabin suitcase, with room to spare for a pair of trainers' worth of socks.

You do not weigh anything yourself. We weigh the bag when it arrives and tell you in the chat if you need the bigger size. You never pay per piece.

Staying a fortnight, or travelling as a couple, a family or a team? The 12kg bag is the better fit, and it costs less than two small bags.

The same rules apply as for the smaller size: one flat price, no counting, everything washed, dried and folded by hand. If you are not sure which size you need, send us a photo of the pile in the chat and we will tell you.

It is also a good choice for the end of a long trip, when everything in the case needs washing before you fly home.

A stain is far easier to remove before it meets a hot dryer, so every bag is checked first.

• Food and drink: coffee, sauce and juice marks from a hotel dinner or a buffet breakfast are treated before the wash.
• Sun cream: it leaves a yellowish mark on white cotton, so we look for it on pool and beach clothes.
• Make-up and deodorant: treated by hand, in the right way for the fabric.

Tell us in the chat what caused a mark. Knowing whether it was coffee, oil or sun cream helps us choose the best way to clean it, and a note on the order is all it takes.

Our detergent is hypoallergenic and biodegradable, with only a light scent. That matters if you have sensitive skin, or if you are washing baby clothes that stay against the skin all day.

We also use commercial-grade machines, so a load of gym kit and jeans comes out properly clean. Each order goes into a clean drum of its own, and the machine is sanitised after the load, so nothing from another customer's order is mixed with yours.

If you have an allergy, tell us before pickup and we will note it on your order.

Pool days and gym sessions leave chlorine, sun cream and sweat behind. Swimwear and stretch fabrics go on a softer setting, then dry on low heat so the elastic keeps its stretch and the shape does not change. They come back folded flat in the same bag, ready to pack for your next stop.

If any piece has a care label that says hand wash only, tell us and we will follow the label.

Staying a month or more while you work in Dubai? A plan costs less than single bags, and your pickup day stays the same each week, so you never need to rebook.

• Essential is AED 250 a month for four bags, one a week. It suits one person living out of a hotel room.
• Family is AED 450 a month for eight bags, two a week, with space for a couple or a small team.
• Single bags stay at AED 65 when you only need one now and then.

Your order is returned to the Hampton Al Seef lobby or concierge, if the hotel allows it, and you get a message in the chat when the driver is close.

• Standard: usually within 24 hours, so a bag handed over in the morning is often back the next day.
• Same-day hotel laundry: if you book before 2 PM and your address is covered, urgent pieces can be back in 5 hours.
• Payment: a secure payment link is texted after the driver has checked your items. No cash or cards are taken in the lobby.

If you check out soon, tell us the time and we will plan the return before you go.

This is for clothes that should be cleaned and then hang straight, not be folded into a bag.

Each piece is looked over, cleaned in the right way for its fabric, steamed and pressed by hand, then put on a hanger. You can send one shirt or a whole rail, and pickup and delivery are free either way. Pieces are priced one by one, so you see the price before you book.

Send as many shirts as the trip needs. They return cleaned and pressed on hangers, with the collar flat and the sleeves smooth. Hang them up as soon as they arrive and they are ready to wear.

For a morning meeting, a handover the day before is ideal. If the meeting is soon, book before 2 PM and ask for express.

A suit is cleaned and pressed as one set, so the jacket and trousers stay the same shade. For a quick tidy after a long flight, send the jacket alone.

• Two-piece suit: one price covers the jacket and trousers together.
• Single jacket or trousers: priced as separate items.
• Ties: add them to the same order.

Need express suit pressing for a morning meeting? Book before 2 PM and tell us your deadline in the chat. Express applies where your address is covered, and there is no express fee. Hang the suit up on arrival and it is ready to wear.

Everyday T-shirts and jeans cost less in a Wash & Fold bag. Clothes that are already clean but creased only need pressing, which is a separate service on our pressing page, and it can be cheaper for a shirt that needs nothing else.

Traditional clothes are best handled by hand, because the fabric is often fine and the shape matters for the occasion.

• Kandura: cleaned, steamed and hung so the collar and cuffs keep their form.
• Ghutra: pressed flat and folded for the case, or hung if you prefer.
• Abaya: basic or delicate, depending on the fabric and any embroidery or beading.
• Jalabiya and kurta: cleaned and pressed with the same care.

Tell us the event date, a wedding or a family visit, and we will plan the delivery so it arrives with time to spare. Everything comes back on a hanger.

If you book before 2 PM and your address is covered, urgent pieces can be back in 5 hours. There is no express fee. Say which items are urgent and the time you need them, and we will plan around it. Pieces booked after 2 PM follow the normal timing.

Silk, satin and fine knits do not like rough handling. We read the care label, test stained areas gently, and choose the right way to clean each piece.

If a shirt has a mark from lunch or a travel spill, tell us where it is and what caused it. We look for it first. Items with no care label are cleaned at your own risk, and so are items that were already damaged before pickup.

Clean & Press works best when it is planned around your schedule.

• Morning meeting: book the day before, or choose express before 2 PM.
• Wedding or gala: send formal wear two days ahead, with the event time.
• Flight day: tell us your check-out time and we will plan the return before you leave. The hotel lists check-out at 12 noon.

Payment is by a secure link texted after the driver checks the items.
