Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery in Al Safa

Wash & Fold is meant for the clothes that go round and round the wardrobe, the ones you wear and wash every week. Pack up to 6kg into one bag, tie it shut and leave it ready for the driver. For most homes in Al Safa the bag holds the following.

• Everyday clothes: T-shirts, jeans, shorts, pyjamas and underwear go in together.
• Sports kit: running tops, leggings and socks after a run round Safa Park are fine.
• School clothes: polo shirts, trousers and PE kit are washed with the rest.
• Baby clothes: washed in the same hypoallergenic detergent as everything else.

If the bag will not close, ask about the 12kg bag. Shirts and kanduras that need steaming are better in Clean & Press.

Your bag is never tipped in with anyone else's. It gets a washing machine to itself, and every machine is sanitised after each cycle.

• Detergent: a commercial-grade detergent that is biodegradable and hypoallergenic, with a light scent.
• Colours: whites are washed apart from darks, so a new dark top does not tint a white shirt.
• Stains: if you point one out when you book, we look at it before the wash.
• Drying: everything is dried on low heat, which is kinder to cotton and to stretch fabric.

When the cycle is finished each piece is folded and the bag is sealed for the trip back to Al Safa.

A little care when you pack makes the pickup easy and keeps the order exactly as you meant it.

• Tie the bag so nothing spills out in the lift or on the stairs.
• Check the pockets for keys, cards and tissues.
• Pull out anything with a dry clean only label and keep it for Clean & Press.
• Put your street, your villa or flat number and a location pin in your WhatsApp message.

For contactless pickup and delivery, leave the bag at your door, or at reception if your building has one. The driver takes it from there.

There are two bag sizes. The 6kg bag costs AED 65. The 12kg bag costs AED 120, which is one flat price for a bigger load.

Not sure which you need? A bag that closes without a fight is usually under 6kg. If you are packing a long week of washing, go for the larger one. You can also send two 6kg bags if you would like them kept separate.

Dubai's summers are hot and humid. July and August highs pass 43°C, and sweat builds up quickly in shirts, socks and gym kit. Washing a day or two later makes smells harder to shift, so it helps to bag things up while they are fresh.

A shamal wind can carry dust over the city, and Dubai's balcony rules ban airing laundry outside, so a drying rack in the flat is often the only choice at home. Handing the bag over means your clothes dry in our dryers instead, on low heat, and come back folded.

Most everyday clothes are fine in the bag. A few things are better handled separately.

• Dry clean only: if the care label says so, use Clean & Press.
• Silk, lace and beading: mention them in the chat so they are handled with care.
• Bulky bedding: duvets and blankets go through Bed & Bath, which has its own prices.

If you are unsure about a piece, message us a photo of the label before pickup. It takes a minute and saves a surprise.

You do not need a plan. For homes in Al Safa that wash every week, there are two plans, and a single bag is always available too.

• Essential: one bag every week for AED 250 a month.
• Family: two bags every week for AED 450 a month.
• No plan: a single bag for AED 65, whenever you book it.

Plan bags are collected on a set day, so there is nothing to book each week.

The standard return is within 24 hours across most of Dubai. For anything you need sooner, ask for express.

• Standard: back within 24 hours. This is our next-day laundry service.
• Express: back in 5 hours if you book before 2 PM and your address is covered. Send your Al Safa street in the chat first.

Bulky bedding takes 48 to 72 hours in Dubai because it needs longer to dry. You get WhatsApp updates at each step.

A shirt gets its collar, cuffs and underarms checked before it is cleaned. It is steamed by hand and returned on a hanger, ready to wear.

• Long or short sleeves: the same price per shirt.
• Blouses: cleaned and steamed in the same way.
• Casual shirts: these can go in a wash and fold bag instead and come back folded.

If you only need a shirt pressed, ask about pressing only.

A white kandura shows every mark, and summer sweat gathers at the collar and cuffs. We deal with those two places by hand before the main cleaning.

The kandura is then washed cool, hung to dry and steamed from top to bottom. A ghutra is cleaned carefully and steamed so it keeps its shape. Both come back on hangers.

Traditional wear is cleaned one piece at a time, and the care label is read first. Hot irons can leave black crepe looking shiny, so abayas are steamed by hand.

• Abaya, plain: the basic price.
• Abaya with beading, lace or stones: the delicate price.
• Jalabiya and kurta: cleaned and steamed on their own, men's and women's kurtas each have a price.
• Shayla: send it with the abaya and tell us in the chat. It has no separate price row.

Everything is returned on a hanger.

A two-piece suit is cleaned and steamed as a set, so jacket and trousers come back matching. Tell us about any spots you have noticed.

Day dresses, skirts and blouses are cleaned by the care label, and the fabric decides how. Silk and lace are handled gently, and pieces with beads or sequins are checked for loose trims before they go in.

• Day dresses: cleaned and steamed.
• Skirts: pressed and returned on hangers.
• Special occasion dresses: ask us in the chat, because the price depends on the piece.

Tell us about stains from make-up, food or perfume when you book. Each one is treated before cleaning.

Coats and jackets are cleaned once a season. Winter in Dubai is mild, with January highs around 22°C, so a coat may live in the cupboard for months. Send it from Al Safa before a trip.

Clean but creased? Pressing only steams a garment without washing it. It suits clothes straight from the wardrobe, or a shirt that needs a quick refresh before an event. Send your list and the driver collects it for free.

Most Clean & Press orders are home within 24 hours across Dubai. Delicate pieces can take longer, because they are handled more slowly. How long depends on the piece, and we tell you at pickup.

• Hangers: pieces come back on hangers, in breathable bags where we can.
• Special requests: anything unusual about a piece? Say so in the chat.
• Express: 5 hours if you book before 2 PM and your address is covered.

Send your list on WhatsApp whenever you are ready.

A duvet cover is cheaper to clean than the duvet, so wash covers more often. A cover costs AED 31. The filled duvet or quilted comforter only needs cleaning now and then.

• Covers: washed and dried the same way as sheets.
• Filled duvets: cleaned in a large machine and dried until no damp is left in the centre.
• Quilted comforters: priced on their own line in the table above.

Fold covers inside the duvet bag if you can, so the pieces stay together.

Duvet and comforter laundering is one of the jobs home machines struggle with most, and Dubai's summer humidity makes airing them at home slow.

Pillows are washed one at a time and dried right through. A damp pillow smells quickly in the summer, so we do not hurry the drying.

Send pillows with your bedding order from Al Safa and they come back together with it. If you are unsure whether a pillow can be washed, ask in the chat and send a photo of its label.

Blankets, throws and bedspreads hold a lot of dust, and they are heavy when wet. This bulky item washing is done in large machines.

• Standard blanket: AED 26.
• Bedcover: AED 29.
• Duvet: AED 56.

Bigger blankets cost more. Allow 48 to 72 hours for any bulky piece.

Sheets and pillowcases are washed, dried right into the corners and folded. A bed sheet is AED 25 and a pillowcase is AED 9.

• Pillows: AED 19 each.
• Mattress protectors: AED 35, and they dry quickly once washed.

Keep each set together by folding the pillowcases inside the sheet. A whole bedroom set from an Al Safa villa comes back together.

Pool and gym towels carry chlorine, sweat and sun cream. We rinse them again and dry them slowly so they stay soft. A towel is AED 7 and a bathrobe is AED 19.

Sofa covers and table cloths are washed here too. A standard sofa cover is AED 46 and a table cloth is AED 19.

Safa Park picnic blankets and beach towels from a weekend are welcome, and they go in with the towels.

Bulky bedding holds a lot of water. Drying it properly takes time, which is why it comes back in 48 to 72 hours instead of 24.

Our large dryers run on a low heat.

Dubai's balcony rules ban airing laundry outside, so a duvet cannot hang over the rail. Indoors, a big duvet takes days to dry in summer. Sending it out is simpler.
