The bag price covers the whole job, from the first sort to the last fold. Nothing is added for the driver, for splitting colours, for the drying or for folding.

The bag is yours to fill. Some guests send a few shirts and a pair of jeans, others a full week of clothes. As long as the bag closes and holds up to 6kg, the price is the same.

It is the simplest way to deal with a pile of travel clothes.

Booking takes a minute. Write to us on WhatsApp with the hotel name, your name and a time, and add your pin.

At the agreed time, come down and meet the driver by the lobby, or the concierge desk where the hotel permits it. You open the bag together and the driver counts what is inside. A secure payment link then arrives by text.

When you have paid, the clean bag is sent back to the same place. Nobody takes cash or cards in the lobby. The link accepts debit and credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

If you would put it in your own washing machine at home, it belongs here. On a hotel stay the bag usually fills with:

• T-shirts, polos and casual shirts
• Jeans, chinos and shorts
• Gym kit and swimwear
• Underwear and socks
• Pyjamas and loungewear

A small packing tip: put socks and underwear in a pouch inside the bag so they stay together on the way back. Check each pocket for key cards, receipts and earphones before you close it.

• The hotel's towels and robes. They belong to the Anantara and stay in your room.
• Dry clean only pieces. Suits, silk and anything with beading go to Clean & Press instead.
• Shoes and bags. We clean those as separate services, so ask us about them.
• Valuables. Look through pockets for key cards, cash and jewellery before handing the bag over.

If you are unsure about a piece, put it to one side and ask us on WhatsApp before the driver arrives. We would rather answer a quick question than guess.

The care label is the rulebook. The number inside the wash tub is the hottest water a piece can take, and we stay at or below it.

We split whites, lights and darks before anything gets wet. Items with a tumble dry cross on the label are dried on a low setting or left to air. Stretchy gym fabrics and swimwear are always washed cool, so the elastic keeps its stretch.

Dubai summers are hot and humid, and sweat sets into cotton quickly. If your clothes have been worn outdoors, send them soon after. Dust from a windy day rinses out easily when it is fresh, and much harder once it has dried in.

If you are in Dubai for weeks on a project, booking a single bag each time gets tiring. A monthly plan is simpler. You pay once for the month and get a set number of bags, collected on a day that suits you.

• Essential: four bags each month, about one a week
• Family: eight bags each month, two a week

Both plans keep the free pickup and delivery. You can arrange a plan by WhatsApp and tell us which day suits you best. For a few nights, single bags remain the easier choice.

A single bag is AED 65. You can book it whenever you like, with no sign-up. The Essential plan is AED 250 a month, and the Family plan is AED 450 a month.

For a week or two, single bags are normally the better deal. For a month or more, count the bags you expect to send and compare that with the plan price.

If you cannot decide, ask us. We would rather you took the option that costs you less.

Most standard bags return inside a day, wherever in Dubai you are, so it works as a next-day laundry service. Hand it over before breakfast and it can come back the next morning.

If you check out soon, tell us your time. We will say honestly whether a standard return works or whether to ask about express. Express is 5 hours when you book before 2 PM, if your address is covered.

You pay one price for each piece, and it covers every step. Nothing is added for the hanger, the cover or a stubborn collar.

Pickup and delivery are free, and the price you see is the price you pay. The total is checked with you by the driver before the payment link is sent.

Take a white cotton shirt worn through a long conference day. The driver collects it at the lobby and checks it with you. At our plant it is looked over for marks, cleaned, steamed by hand and pressed. Then it is hung and covered, ready to go back to the hotel.

Clean and press suits anything you would rather wear smooth than folded:

• Business shirts in poplin, oxford and twill
• Two-piece suits, jackets and trousers
• Evening dresses and blouses
• Kanduras, ghutras, jalabiyas and kurtas
• Abayas, plain and delicate

Tell us if a piece is silk, or if it has beading, and we will treat it as a delicate item. Silk or beaded pieces can need longer, depending on the piece, so give us time when the event matters.

Steam and heat do not suit everything. Send these another way: silk with sequins, heavy beading, and leather or fur. Ask us on WhatsApp first, and we will tell you what we can do with the piece.

The iron symbol on the label sets the heat. One dot means low heat, right for polyester and acrylic. Two dots mean medium heat, used for wool and silk blends. Three dots mean high heat, for cotton and linen.

Collars and cuffs get extra attention, since they are the first thing people see at a meeting. Everything is hung straight after pressing, so the crease sets where it should and the piece does not crumple on the way back.

Fabrics that mark easily, like velvet, are steamed rather than pressed flat. If you are unsure how a piece will cope, tell us the fabric and we will say.

Meet the driver in the lobby, or leave the pieces with the concierge if the hotel allows it. Keep them on their hangers or lay them flat in a bag. The driver goes through every piece with you, then sends the payment link.

Normal clean and press takes up to 24 hours. Delicate pieces may need longer, and we tell you the time when we collect them.

When something is urgent, express can bring a piece back in 5 hours, provided you book before 2 PM and we cover your address. Say when you need it, and we will confirm whether we can.

Add a note for any piece that needs attention. Say what caused the mark and when, and say which cuff or collar it is on. A fresh mark lifts more easily than an old one.

• Coffee or tea on a cuff: tell us which one
• Sunscreen on a collar: name it, since the treatment is different
• Perfume or makeup on a dress: point to the spot

Some marks will not come out completely. We will tell you before delivery rather than after.
