Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery in Al Rashidiya

The routine is the same for every bag, big or small.

• Pockets first. Keys, coins, tissues and hair ties come out before the wash. One stray pen can ruin a load.
• Two piles. Whites and pale colours are washed together, dark clothes separately. Lace and mesh get a cooler wash.
• Marks dealt with. Sweat, sun cream and food marks are treated before washing, because a hot dryer would bake them in.
• Washing and rinsing. Mild detergent, then a long rinse so nothing scratchy stays in the cloth.
• Drying. Low heat only, so cotton keeps its size and waistbands keep their grip.
• Folding. We fold by hand, take a last look and pack the bag for Al Rashidiya.

If you want something hanging, like a shirt or a kandura, Clean & Press is the better choice.

1. WhatsApp us. Send a location pin, your road number and your house or villa number. Everything is arranged in the chat, so there is no app to install.
2. Fill the bag. Everyday clothes only. Check the pockets, as a loose tissue ends up on every dark top. Write your name and house number on the bag.
3. Leave it out. The driver takes it from your gate or front door, or from the desk if your building has one. You are not charged.
4. We do the washing. Sorted, washed gently, dried cool and folded by hand.
5. It comes home. We message you when the van is on its way to Al Rashidiya, and delivery is free as well.

Shirts that must hang can go in a second bag marked for Clean & Press. Say so in the chat and one driver takes both.

A good test: could it go in your own washing machine? If yes, it fits our bag. Anything marked hand wash or do not wash stays out. Typical bags from Al Rashidiya hold:

• Sports kit: T-shirts, shorts, leggings and socks. Air them out first if they are sweaty.
• Park and garden clothes: joggers and hoodies after an afternoon outdoors. Shake off grass and dust before packing.
• Swimming gear: costumes, trunks and children's rash vests. Rinse the chlorine out and dry them off first.
• Hot-weather clothes: cotton tees, linen shirts and light dresses, which are washed often when summer passes 38°C.
• Children's wear: school uniform, pyjamas and playclothes. Close the zips first.

The bag is for everyday clothes. We clean the items below too, but each has its own price. The same driver can take all of it from your door in one visit.

• Shirts, suits, kanduras and abayas belong in Clean & Press. They are priced one by one and come back hanging.
• Silk, wool, sequins and beadwork do better away from water. Choose dry cleaning.
• Bath and pool towels go under Bed & Bath, with a price for each towel.
• Underwired bras and hand-wash knitwear should stay at home. Not sure about a label? Photograph it and send it on WhatsApp.

This is how a load is handled once it reaches us from Al Rashidiya.

• New colours: new jeans and bright tops can bleed for the first few washes. We keep them away from whites.
• Heavy against light: zips and thick denim roughen thin fabrics, so the two are never washed together.
• One customer per machine: yours is the only laundry in the drum.
• A clean drum: the machine is sanitised after each cycle, before the next customer.
• Detergent: commercial-grade, biodegradable and hypoallergenic. A thorough rinse matters, since leftover soap itches in humid weather.
• Drying: high heat shrinks cotton and tires out elastic, so we dry low and check seams, cuffs and waistbands by hand.
• Final look: a loose button or a stubborn stain gets a WhatsApp message from us.

The standard pickup reaches all of Al Rashidiya at no charge.

• Road numbers: the area is a grid. Even-numbered roads run northeast to southwest and odd-numbered ones run northwest to southeast. Send your road number and your house number and the driver can place you.
• Handover: your front door or gate, or the desk if your building has one.
• Boundaries: the area sits south of Dubai International Airport. Al Khawaneej Road runs along the north, Nad Al Hammar Road along the west and Emirates Road along the east.

If you send a bag most weeks, a plan is the budget-friendly wash and fold choice. The driver arrives on the same weekday every week, so there is nothing to rebook, and each bag works out cheaper than a single one.

• Essential, AED 250 a month: one bag a week, four in total. Good for one person or a couple.
• Family, AED 450 a month: two bags a week, eight in total, enough for uniforms, sports kit and swimwear.
• No plan: a single bag is AED 65, booked only when you need it.

Bags collected in Al Rashidiya normally come back within 24 hours, as they do across most of Dubai.

Express laundry delivery is the answer if you need a same-day laundry service. Order before 2 PM, and where we cover your address the bag is home five hours after pickup. A few addresses are outside the express area, so ask in the chat before you plan around it.

• Name the cause: sun cream on a neckline, tea on a cuff, ketchup on a school shirt. Then show us where it is.
• Say what you tried: hot water, bleach or a stain spray may already have fixed the mark in place.
• Dry before packing: a damp swimsuit or sweaty top shut in a bag overnight will smell, so hang it up first.

The price on a shirt is the price you pay. Stain treatment, the hanger and the cover are all included.

• Checks: pockets emptied, care label read, loose buttons noted.
• Stains: treated by hand before washing, because warm water can set them.
• Washing: cool water for cotton and cotton mixes, so nothing shrinks. Pieces needing a specialist clean are sent for one.
• Drying: hung in filtered air, never tumbled, so sleeves stay the right length.
• Steaming: collar and cuffs first, then the front, then the back and sleeves.
• Final checks: three of them, then a cover goes on for the ride back to Al Rashidiya.

1. Send a list. A short note is enough, for example "3 kanduras, a suit and 5 shirts". Add your road number, house number and how you like the creases.
2. Separate the bags. Hanging clothes go in one, folded washing in another, so each goes to the right place.
3. Free collection. The driver takes them from your gate or front door, or from the desk if your building has one.
4. One garment at a time. Each piece is finished completely before the next one starts.
5. Hanging again. Normally the next day, under a cover and ready for the wardrobe.

Ask yourself whether it creases when you sit down at work. If it does, it belongs here. From Al Rashidiya we often see:

• Work shirts: oxford, twill and poplin, collar first.
• Blouses and skirts: light cotton, crepe and viscose crease fast and sit best on a hanger.
• Suits and chinos: wool or cotton mixes. Jackets are steamed on a body form so the lapels stay smooth.
• Kanduras and thobes: white cotton or polyester-cotton, steamed until the front hangs straight.
• Ghutras: laid flat on a table and smoothed, ready for you to fold.
• Abayas and jalabiyas: georgette and crepe are steamed only, so black fabric does not shine. For a shayla, ask us for the price.
• Kurta sets: top and trousers kept together on one ticket.
• School shirts: best sent in before term starts, for a sharp collar.

• Already washed, only creased? The Pressing service removes the creases without another wash.
• Silk, lace, sequins, beads or heavy wool? These cope better with dry cleaning than with water.
• Gym shorts, T-shirts, socks, pyjamas? They go in a drawer, so a Wash & Fold bag suits them.

Care labels show one, two or three dots inside the iron symbol. We set the steamer to match and never go hotter. Three dots, about 200°C, suit cotton and linen. Two dots, about 150°C, suit wool, silk and polyester mixes. One dot, about 110°C, is for acrylic and similar fibres. A crossed-out symbol means we use only a light steam.

• Dark crepe: steamed, never pressed on a hot plate, which would leave a shine. This goes for black abayas and dark trousers.
• Collars and cuffs: the first parts anyone notices, so they get extra time.
• Your crease: sharp, soft, none or travel-folded. It is written on your ticket for next time.
• Covers: plastic traps damp against the cloth in humid summers. Ours keep out dust and let moisture escape on the way back to Al Rashidiya.

We collect hanging clothes from every road in Al Rashidiya, free, just as we do bags of washing. Because roads here are numbered, a full address helps the driver.

• What to send: road number, house number and a location pin.
• Landmarks help: Centrepoint metro station, Bin Sougat Centre and Al Rashidiya Park all work as directions.
• Nearby: we collect free in Mirdif and Al Qusais too.

Hanging clothes collected in Al Rashidiya normally return the next day. That is the 24 hours we give across most of Dubai. Delicate fabrics can need longer, depending on the piece. We tell you the time for those when you book.

Need a shirt today? Book before 2 PM. Inside the express area it is back on a hanger five hours after pickup. A few addresses fall outside it, so send your road number and we check first.

Mention any of these when you book in Al Rashidiya.

• Coffee and food: coffee on a cuff, curry down a shirt front. Say what it was.
• Yellow collars: in the summer heat, sweat soaks into white collars and kandura necklines. The sooner they reach us, the easier the marks lift.
• Deodorant: white marks on dark cloth, yellow on light cloth. Each needs different handling, so say which you have.
• Oud and perfume oil: can leave a ring on pale cotton. Point to it and name the oil if you know it.
• Other requests: no crease, a travel fold, a loose button. Put it in the chat.

One price per item covers collection from Al Rashidiya, cleaning and delivery. Our bed linen wash and fold looks after sheets and pillowcases: each one is washed, its seams are checked for damp and it is folded flat. Small items get the same care as big ones, although a pillowcase dries faster.

• Hand check: corners, seams and any stain you pointed out.
• A machine of your own: sanitised, and never shared with another home's bedding. A duvet needs space to tumble. Crammed in, the outside gets wet and the filling stays dry.
• Gentle detergent: biodegradable and hypoallergenic, which counts most for the pillowcase you sleep on.
• Drying: a duvet stays in until the middle is as dry as the edges. Covers dry first, so we feel the filling rather than watch the clock.
• Packing: only once everything is fully dry.

A duvet cover is a separate item at AED 31, taken off and washed alone.

1. Send a list. For example "a king duvet, 6 sheets and the bath towels", plus your road number, house number and a pin.
2. We reply with timings. You get a pickup slot and the day it will be back.
3. Pack it. Roll each duvet up and give it a bag of its own. Sheets and towels can go together.
4. Hand it over. The driver collects at your gate or front door, or from the desk if your building has one. The van is free.
5. Follow the chat. Updates arrive in the same thread until delivery.

The chat never closes. Guests arriving tomorrow with nothing clean for the sofa bed? Late bookings are welcome.

Duvets and comforters of every size, single to king, are AED 56. We treat each type a little differently.

• Duvet: a soft filling in a fabric case, slept under with a removable cover. The cover is washed apart and priced on its own.
• Comforter: quilted in squares or rows, often patterned, used with no cover. Each stitched section dries at its own pace, so we test them one by one.
• Blanket: AED 26 for a standard size, more for larger ones.
• Bedcover: AED 29. It lies on top of the bed and gathers dust, and sand carried by the shamal. Mention fringes, tassels or beads.

Has a seam come apart, or is filling poking out? Send us a picture before booking, and we will tell you if it is safe to wash.

Sheets and pillowcases get changed far more often than duvets in the heat, so they wear out first.

• Sheets: AED 25 each. Fitted sheets trap socks and hair ties in the corners, so turn them inside out.
• Pillowcases: AED 9. Night cream and sun cream leave greasy marks on cotton. Show us, but do not rub.
• Pillows: AED 19 each. Fold one in half. If it stays folded, the filling is worn out and no wash will fix that. Memory foam must not get wet.
• Mattress protectors: AED 35. Heat can damage a waterproof backing, so photograph the label first.

Stripping every bed in the house? Put each bedroom's set in your message, and check the list when it comes back.

A towel is AED 7 and a bathrobe is AED 19. Leftover soap makes towels stiff, which is why we rinse twice and dry them completely.

• Pool and beach towels: send them the same day. Shut in a bag overnight, a wet towel turns sour.
• Gym towels: small and quick to get sweaty. Hang yours to air before packing.
• Bathrobes: the thick collar stays wet longest, so we check it once more before folding. Tuck the belt into a sleeve so it does not get lost.
• Sofa covers: AED 46 each, if they are a standard size and unzip. Remember which cushion each belongs to. Shake off loose pet hair first.
• Tablecloths: AED 19. Let a spill dry and say what it was, for example oil, sauce or juice.

Keep wet towels in a separate bag from a duvet. In humid weather, damp spreads into filling fast.

A few things should never go in any washing machine. Please keep these at home in Al Rashidiya:

• Electric blankets and anything else with a plug or heating wire.
• Weighted blankets filled with glass or plastic beads.
• Memory foam pillows and mattress toppers.
• Anything showing a crossed-out washtub. If the label is unclear, WhatsApp us a photo and we reply before the driver sets off.

Duvet and comforter laundering is mostly a drying job. Covers dry fast, but the filling takes far longer. Down, feather and polyester all keep water deep inside for hours, and a duvet put away slightly damp soon smells stale.

• Two to three days: the time we allow for thick bedding. A dry surface is not enough, so we wait for the centre too.
• Return day: we tell you in the chat as soon as you book.
