Al Warqa 1 to 5 all get free doorstep laundry pickup from LPlaundry, and we bring it back free too. After you book, we confirm the exact return time on WhatsApp. Our everyday bag holds 6kg, washed and folded, for AED 65. Shirts cost AED 18 each on hangers, and a kandura costs AED 15. Across most of Dubai, orders return within 24 hours.

Wash and fold in Al Warqa, priced by the bag
Our wash and fold takes everyday clothes from anywhere in Al Warqa in flat-rate laundry bags. Up to 6kg goes in one bag for AED 65, and nobody counts T-shirts. The driver takes it from your door, or from the front desk if you have one, and pickup costs nothing. We sort, wash gently, dry cool and fold by hand. It works as a next-day laundry service too: your bag is normally home within 24 hours, as in most of Dubai.

Distance does not change the price. Al Warqa 1 pays what Al Warqa 5 pays, and what anywhere else in Dubai pays. If you need a sharp collar or a crisp kandura, use Clean & Press instead.
What happens to every Al Warqa wash bag
All bags get the same five stages, whatever the size of the household. Nothing is skipped when a bag is half empty, and nothing is added to the bill when it is stuffed full.
- Sorting: we make piles by colour and by fabric. Pale tops and linen sit apart from dark denim and black leggings, and lace and stretch pieces get a separate, cooler wash.
- Spot checks: collars, underarms and cuffs are looked at before any water. In summer heat sweat marks set quickly, and a hot dryer can fix a yellow ring into the cloth.
- The wash: a biodegradable, hypoallergenic detergent, rinsed until no strong smell remains.
- Drying: low heat only. That protects fitted T-shirts from shrinking and elastic from going slack.
- Folding: by hand, one garment at a time, with a final look before the bag is closed for Al Warqa.
Nothing in this service is pressed. Your clothes return folded and ready for the drawer. If a shirt needs a sharp collar or a kandura needs a crease, put it under Clean & Press.
How an Al Warqa collection works, start to finish
- Message us. Share your pin and tell us which part of Al Warqa you are in, from 1 to 5. Choose a pickup time. You do not need an app, and the chat is open all night.
- Fill the bag. Everyday clothes only. Check pockets for coins, hair ties and sand, then write your name and house number on the bag.
- Give it to the driver. Hand it over at your front door, or leave it at the front desk where your building has one. You pay nothing for pickup.
- Back at the laundry. Your bag is sorted, washed gently, dried cool and folded by hand.
- Delivery. A WhatsApp message tells you when it is on the road to Al Warqa. Delivery is free as well.
Sending shirts for Clean & Press too? Use a second bag and mention both jobs in one message. The driver takes them together.
What goes in an Al Warqa wash bag
Check the care label, normally inside a side seam, for the washtub picture. A plain tub or a tub with dots is fine for the bag. A tub with a hand, or a tub with a cross through it, should stay out. In most Al Warqa homes the bag holds:
- Summer basics: vests, T-shirts, polos and light linen mixes, worn when July and August highs in Dubai average over 43°C.
- Everyday trousers: chinos, jeans and joggers. Fasten zips and buttons first.
- Sports clothes: kit from a run round the Al Warqa 3 park track, plus football tops and gym socks.
- Underwear and pyjamas: briefs, boxers, cotton nightshirts and paired socks.
- Kids' clothes: school polos, dry swimsuits and sleepsuits with all the poppers done up.
- Layers: a hoodie or sweatshirt for a cooler winter evening.
Things to keep out of an Al Warqa bag
A few things need more careful handling than a normal wash. You can still send most of them with the same driver under another service.
- Crisp shirts, suits, kanduras and abayas: book Clean & Press. They are priced one by one and come back on hangers.
- Anything with a crossed-out tub: silk, wool coats and beaded or sequinned dresses should go for dry cleaning, not into water.
- Hand-wash knits and fine lingerie: keep them out, or message us first.
- Wet clothes: a swimsuit sealed in a bag while damp smells musty within hours. Dry it first.
- Anything that is not clothing: the other services have their own pages, linked above.
What happens in the wash: sorting and drying an Al Warqa load
Most of the quality comes from the few minutes of sorting before a machine is switched on. This is what happens when your bag is emptied at our laundry.
- By colour. A new pair of dark jeans can tint a white vest in a single wash, so lights and darks never share a load.
- By weight. Thick denim and fleece sit apart from fine jersey, which keeps soft T-shirts from pilling.
- One customer per machine. Nothing from another home goes in with yours.
- A cleaned drum. Each machine is sanitised after its cycle, before the next load starts.
- Detergent. It is commercial-grade, biodegradable and hypoallergenic, and it is rinsed out well because leftover soap irritates skin that sweats in the heat.
- Gentle drying. High heat shrinks cotton and tires elastic. We dry on low, then press a hand into hoods, waistbands and thick seams to check they are dry.
- Folding. Folding by hand is when we notice loose buttons or marks that stayed, and we pass that on to you.
Where we collect in and near Al Warqa
We collect throughout Dubai. For Al Warqa that means all five areas, Al Warqa 1 to 5. Pickup and delivery are free.
- Inside Al Warqa: we collect at your door, from villa streets to the buildings near the parks and schools. A front desk, if you have one, can look after the bag until we arrive.
- North, in Mirdif: the Mirdif page covers the next neighbourhood up.
- South, in International City: see the International City page.
- Shared homes and staff housing: send the unit or room number, and make sure the manager is fine with a bag being left.
Wondering if we reach your street? Send a pin, or check the areas we cover.
Monthly wash and fold plans for Al Warqa
When your washing builds up at a steady rate, a monthly plan is the budget-friendly wash and fold option. Pickups happen on one fixed day, you never rebook, and each bag costs less than a one-off.
- Essential: AED 250 a month buys four bags, one a week. It is enough for one person or a couple.
- Family: AED 450 a month buys eight bags, two a week, with space for school uniforms, sports kit and kids' pyjamas.
- Single bag: AED 65, whenever you want one.
Your pickups stay on the same weekday. To begin, send us a WhatsApp message.
Timings, express and stains
If we collect a bag in Al Warqa today, it is usually back within 24 hours. That is the normal time for Dubai. Should your address be an exception, you hear the return day before you confirm.
Looking for a same-day laundry service? Place your express laundry delivery order before 2 PM. Where express covers your address, the bag returns 5 hours after pickup. Message us first so you are not caught out.
- Name the stain. Sun cream on a neckline, ketchup, grass on football shorts: tell us the cause and the spot.
- Say what you tried. Bleach, vinegar or stain sticks change which treatment is safe next.
- Dry indoors. Balconies are off limits under Dubai's balcony rules, so use a rack inside. Damp washing zipped in a bag goes sour in summer.
Clean and press in Al Warqa, every piece on a hanger
Clean and press is for clothes that hang on a rail rather than sit in a drawer: office shirts, kanduras, suit trousers, abayas and simple dresses. Each piece is cleaned as its label allows, steamed by hand and given its own hanger. A shirt costs AED 18 and a kandura AED 15. Collection is free all over Al Warqa, and hangers come home within 24 hours, like most of Dubai.
One shirtAED 18steamed by hand and returned on its own hanger
- A fixed price for each garment
- Hand steamed, piece by piece
- Covers that let damp air out
- Normally 24 hours; delicate items longer
- Tell us on WhatsApp if you want a trouser crease

What one garment price covers
The price shown next to a garment is the whole price. Stains, hangers and covers are never extras.
- Inspection: pockets emptied, label read, seams and buttons checked, and any loose ones noted down.
- Stain work: a mark is treated by hand before washing, because warm water can lock it in.
- Cleaning to the label: cotton and blends get a cool wash to avoid shrinking, and anything marked for specialist cleaning gets exactly that.
- Hanger drying: shirts and kanduras dry on hangers in filtered air instead of a tumble dryer, which keeps collars flat and sleeves long.
- Hand steaming: we start with the button strip, cuffs and collar tips, then finish the body.
- Final checks: three of them, then a breathable cover over the hanger.
From your Al Warqa door to your wardrobe, step by step
- List it on WhatsApp. Something like "three shirts, a kandura and suit trousers". Add your area and street, and tell us if you like a crease in the trousers.
- Split into two bags. One for items that hang, one for items to be folded.
- We collect. At your door anywhere in Al Warqa 1 to 5, or at the front desk if your building has one. It is free.
- Piece by piece. Every garment is cleaned, dried and steamed before we move on to the next.
- Home on hangers. Within 24 hours, as in most of Dubai, each piece under a cover.
What to send for clean and press
Ask yourself whether you would want the creases gone before wearing it. If so, it belongs here. Typical Al Warqa examples:
- Office shirts: oxford, poplin and easy-care blends, short or long sleeves. Collars and cuffs take the most time.
- Blouses and skirts: viscose, cotton lawn and crepe, which crease the most during a working day.
- Suits and work trousers: wool blends and chinos. We hang jackets on a steam dummy to protect the shoulders.
- Kanduras and thobes: white cotton or poly blends, steamed until the front hangs straight from the collar.
- Ghutras: laid flat with crisp corners, so you can fold them as you like.
- Abayas and jalabiyas: crepe and georgette receive a light steam, so black stays matt. Adding a shayla? Ask us the price first.
- Kurtas and sirwal: one ticket for the whole set, so nothing gets separated.
- School shirts: handy before a school event, when a flat collar counts.
Items better suited to another service
- Already clean, just creased? Pressing removes creases from clothes that are washed already, with no extra wash.
- Beads, sequins, silk, lace or a thick wool coat? Choose dry cleaning. A solvent replaces water, and fragile fabrics cope far better.
- Pyjamas, swimsuits, T-shirts, gym kit? These get folded rather than hung, so use Wash & Fold.
Not sure? Send a photo of the care label on WhatsApp and we will work it out together before the driver leaves for your house.
Reading the dots on the pressing symbol
The pressing symbol on the label is a small flat shape with dots. More dots mean more heat. Three dots mean up to about 200°C, right for linen and cotton. Two dots mean about 150°C, for polyester mixes, wool and silk. One dot means about 110°C, for acrylic and some man-made fibres. A crossed-out symbol means steam only.
- Steam for dark crepe: a hot plate leaves shine, so abayas and dark suit trousers only meet steam.
- Collars and cuffs first: they are what people look at, so we do each one separately.
- You choose the crease: sharp, soft, or none, or shirts folded flat to travel. Tell us at booking.
- Breathable covers: Dubai humidity averages over 90% in July and August, and plastic would hold that damp against the cloth. Ours stop dust and let moisture escape.
Handover at home in each Al Warqa area
Pickup is free for clean and press as for everything else. The only catch is that hanging clothes need a safe place to wait when nobody is in.
- Five areas: Al Warqa runs from 1 to 5, so give us your area, street and house number, not only "Al Warqa". Where there is a front desk, hangers can wait there.
- By the main roads: Emirates Road is on the west side and Al Awir Road on the south. If you live near either, share a pin so the driver does not miss the turn.
- Next door: Mirdif and International City get the same free pickup and have their own pages.
How long clean and press takes, and 5-hour express
Shirts and suits collected in Al Warqa normally return after 24 hours, the usual time in Dubai. Delicate fabrics can need longer, depending on the piece. If something on your list qualifies, we tell you the time at pickup.
Want a shirt back tonight? Order express before 2 PM. If your street is in the express area, it returns 5 hours after collection. Cover depends on the address, so message us your location before you count on it.
Sun cream, oud and collar rings
- Sun cream: lotion can leave pale yellow marks on a white shirt or kandura. Mention it, as it is treated differently from food.
- Collar rings: in the heat, sweat and skin oil build a grey-yellow line on white collars. Early treatment works best.
- Oud and perfume oil: on light cotton it looks like a darker patch. Show us where, say which oil, and we pick the treatment.
- Extras: a loose button, shirts folded for a case, or no crease? Add it to your message and it goes on the ticket.
Al Warqa bedding and towels, charged per piece
Bed and bath is for the items a home machine cannot manage well: sheets, pillows, duvets, comforters, mattress protectors, robes and the stack of towels. Each has a price of its own. Towel AED 7, sheet AED 25, duvet AED 56. Pickup and return cost nothing. For bulky item washing, meaning duvets, comforters and blankets, expect 48 to 72 hours, and we tell you the exact day when you book.
One bed sheetAED 25fitted or flat, folded when fully clean
- A price for every piece
- Large drums, so a king duvet can move
- Duvets back within 48 to 72 hours
- Mild, biodegradable, hypoallergenic detergent
- Folded only once completely dry
- An extra rinse keeps towels soft

| Blanket, standardBigger sizes cost more | AED 26 |
| Large bath towel | AED 7 |
| Dressing gown | AED 19 |
| Sofa cover, standardNormal size with a zip | AED 46 |
Bath mats, cushion covers, tablecloths, place mats and large sofa covers are on the UAE-wide price list. A duvet from Al Warqa 3 costs what it costs everywhere in Dubai, and pickup and delivery are free.
What every line on the price list covers
The price of each item here covers all the work. Sheets and pillowcases get our bed linen wash and fold: washed, dried right to the seams and folded flat. We count pieces rather than weigh a bag. A pillowcase gets as much attention as the largest duvet. It simply dries faster.
- Checked first: corners, seams, quilting and any stain you mentioned.
- Large drums: a king duvet can open out while it turns, so water reaches the filling and not just the cover.
- Mild detergent: hypoallergenic and biodegradable, which counts for a pillowcase against your face all night.
- Dried through: a duvet stays in the dryer until the centre matches the edges. You cannot dry one on a balcony in any case, as Dubai's balcony rules ban it.
- Packed last: after every piece in the order is dry, so the linen cupboard stays fresh.
A duvet cover is priced on its own at AED 31, since it is washed separately from the duvet.
Booking a bedding collection in Al Warqa
- Send a rough list. "Two duvets, four pillows, all the bath towels" works. Include your area, street and a pin.
- Get a reply. A member of our team gives you a pickup time and a return day in a single message.
- Prepare it. Roll and tie each duvet. Put sheets and towels into another bag.
- Pickup. Free, at your door in Al Warqa or at reception if your building has one.
- Follow progress. WhatsApp keeps you updated until it is back.
The chat never closes, which suits stripping the beds late at night after visitors leave.
Duvets, comforters and blankets side by side
Duvets and comforters share one price, AED 56, from single up to king. What differs is how we inspect them.
- Duvet: loose filling in a plain case, meant to go inside a cover. The cover is removed and charged as its own item.
- Comforter: quilted in blocks, often patterned, used without a cover. Blocks dry at different speeds, so we run a hand along every row.
- Blanket: AED 26 for a standard size. Bigger ones are listed apart.
- Bedcover: AED 29. It sits on top, so it collects dust first, and fine sand when a shamal blows. Beads or tassels? Let us know.
If a seam has split or filling shows through, photograph it before pickup and we will plan a safe wash.
Sheets, pillows, pillowcases and protectors
Summer means these are washed most often, so they wear thin first.
- Pillows: AED 19 each. Most fillings recover after a wash and a slow dry. Squash one and release it: if it stays flat, the filling is spent. Memory foam stays at home.
- Sheets: AED 25, flat or fitted. Check fitted corners for hair ties and earrings before you pack them.
- Pillowcases: AED 9. Face cream and hair oil mark them quickly. Tell us on WhatsApp rather than scrubbing.
- Mattress protectors: AED 35. A waterproof back dislikes strong heat, so send a photo of the label.
Towel laundry service for Al Warqa, with robes and covers
Soap trapped in the loops makes towels stiff. We rinse a second time, then tumble dry fully. A bath towel is AED 7 and a bathrobe AED 19.
- Pool and park towels: shake them outside first. One gritty towel can spread sand through the whole load.
- Bathrobes: the thick collar dries last, so we test it before folding. Add the belt to the bag.
- Bath mats: cotton ones are fine. Keep back any mat with a crumbling rubber base.
- Sofa covers: AED 46 for the usual zip-off type. Take a photo of the sofa before removing them so each goes back where it belongs.
- Tablecloths: AED 19, handy after a big family meal. Let spills dry and say what they were.
Do not pack damp towels next to duvets. Moisture travels into filling quickly.
What not to put in this bag
These bedding items should stay out of any washing machine, ours included:
- Anything with wiring, such as electric or heated blankets.
- Memory foam, pillow or topper.
- Weighted blankets filled with beads.
- A label showing a crossed-out tub. Not sure? Photograph it and we will tell you before pickup.
Clothes use other services. Jeans, T-shirts and gym kit are for Wash & Fold. Items that hang, such as shirts, kanduras and abayas, are for Clean & Press. Use a bag per service and one visit to your Al Warqa door takes the lot. Our bed and bath guide covers care for every bedding item.
Why duvets from Al Warqa take 48 to 72 hours
Duvet and comforter laundering is mainly a matter of waiting. Washing is quick, but feather and polyester fillings hold water long after the cover feels dry. A duvet stored damp turns sour, even in an air-conditioned bedroom.
- Normal time: 48 to 72 hours from pickup for a duvet, quilt, comforter or anything similar.
- Your return day: confirmed in the WhatsApp chat where you book.
Letting your home to holiday guests? Fresh linen between stays belongs to our Airbnb laundry service. This tab covers the bedding you use yourself.
Bedding collection across Al Warqa and next door
Our drivers serve all of Al Warqa, areas 1 to 5. Pickup and delivery are free.
- Al Warqa homes: the driver takes bags at your door, or from the front desk if your building accepts parcels. Give your area number so the driver heads to the right part first.
- Nearby: Mirdif is to the north and International City to the south. Al Qusais and Al Nahda are on our nearby list too. All four have pages.
- On the edge of our map? Send a pin and we check before you book.
Your address does not alter the price. A king duvet costs the same here as anywhere in Dubai.

What makes LPlaundry a good laundry service in Al Warqa
Laundry in the villa streets of Al Warqa
Washing builds up fast in a busy house, and in Al Warqa the heat and dust make it worse. July and August highs average over 43°C, so gym kit and white kanduras should not sit in a basket. Open any item to see how we clean it, which service fits and what it costs.
-
Each piece inspected
Before anything is wet, a team member looks over every item for stains and thin patches.
-
A detergent that is easy on you
It is hypoallergenic and biodegradable, mild on skin and on the fibres.
-
Kanduras are routine here
We handle abayas, kurtas, kanduras and jalabiyas from Al Warqa every day, so there is no need to ask.
-
Low heat in the dryer
Cotton tops and stretch sportswear dry gently. Denim seams are checked by hand before folding.
-
A machine of its own
Your Al Warqa order is washed alone, start to finish, and never shares a drum.

Drums sanitised between loads
After every cycle the drum is sanitised, so nothing carries over from the last order.

Your Al Warqa laundry questions, answered
How does a laundry service in Al Warqa work?
You message us, we collect, we wash, we bring it back. Send a pin and a time on WhatsApp, with no app needed. Everyday washing returns folded in its bag. Shirts and kanduras return steamed by hand, on hangers, to your door or front desk.
- Folded washing is priced per bag, hung clothes per item
- Your load has its own machine, sanitised afterwards
- Clean but creased? Use the Pressing page
Is there a laundry near me in Al Warqa?
Yes, and ours comes to you. Search for a laundry service near me in Al Warqa and most results are shops where you carry the bag in yourself. Our driver collects from your door in Al Warqa 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5, so there is no parking or queue.
- A pin helps the driver find your street
- Your front desk can hold the bag, if your building has one
- Nothing to download and no sign-up
How fast is laundry in Al Warqa, and can it come back the same day?
Usually the next day, or the same day with express. Most of Dubai gets next-day laundry service within 24 hours of pickup. For same-day laundry, order express before 2 PM. Where express covers your Al Warqa address, the bag is back 5 hours after collection.
- Check on WhatsApp that express covers your street before planning around it
- Duvets and bulky bedding take 48 to 72 hours
- Delicate items may take longer, and we say so once we have seen them
How much is laundry in Al Warqa, and what is the minimum order?
Folded washing is priced per bag, pressed clothes per item. A 6kg bag costs one fixed price whatever is inside, and the 12kg bag suits weeks with lots of towels. The minimum order is AED 50, though we still collect smaller orders for a small fee. Pickup and return are free, and there are no hidden fees.
- Regular washing is cheaper on a monthly plan: four bags on Essential, eight on Family
- Clean & Press prices each garment, so shirt, kandura and abaya all differ
- Every AED figure is in the prices section further up this page
Do you collect from Al Warqa 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5?
Yes, all five areas, free both ways. Al Warqa runs from 1 to 5, with Mirdif on its northern side and International City to the south. Tell us your area and street when you book, and put your house number on the bag tag.
- Every Al Warqa area pays the same price and gets the same return time
- Emirates Road and Al Awir Road mark the west and south edges
- A pin tells the driver exactly which street
Where can I have work shirts and abayas pressed in Al Warqa?
Use Clean & Press, priced per garment. Each piece is cleaned as its fabric needs, steamed by hand, hung in a breathable cover and delivered to your door in Al Warqa. Please keep these out of the folded-washing bag, or a shirt will arrive creased.
- White kanduras are kept away from colours
- On hangers unless you ask for folding
- Creases in the trousers or none, as you like
Can you collect dry cleaning from my house in Al Warqa?
Yes, and it has its own prices. Silk, sequins, heavy beading and anything labelled do-not-wash should be dry cleaned, not machine washed. Pack them in a separate bag and say so when booking. The driver collects both bags from your door in Al Warqa on one visit.
- A crossed-out tub on the label means no washing machine
- Beaded or sequinned abayas are for dry cleaning
- Both bags go with one pickup
Should I rinse sports kit and swimwear before an Al Warqa pickup?
A quick rinse helps. Shake sand off towels, and rinse swimsuits in the shower. Sand left in towel loops spreads to the other clothes in the bag, and chlorine or salt slowly wears down swimwear elastic. Let everything dry, then pack it for collection in Al Warqa.
- Towels get a load to themselves
- Thick towels stay in the dryer until fully dry
- Wet items in a warm bag turn sour
Can I dry washing on my balcony in Al Warqa?
Not really, because Dubai's balcony rules ban it. Drying or airing laundry where it shows from outside can bring a fine. Indoors, towels stay damp for hours in humid summer air and begin to smell. Send them out from Al Warqa and they come back dry and folded.
- An indoor rack is slow in humid air
- Our dryers run until the folds are dry
- Everything returns in a bag, ready for the cupboard
Is laundry in Al Warqa gentle on sensitive skin?
Yes. The detergent is hypoallergenic, and each load runs in its own machine. It is commercial-grade, but biodegradable too, with no heavy perfume left in cotton. No one else's clothes share your drum, and we sanitise it afterwards. Does anyone in your home react to certain products? Let us know before pickup.
- A fresh smell, nothing perfumed
- Machines sanitised between customers
- Free pickup and return in all five Al Warqa areas
