Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery in International City
LPlaundry offers free doorstep laundry pickup across International City, in all ten clusters and in Warsan Village. Washing, drying and folding a 6kg bag of everyday clothes costs AED 65. A work shirt is AED 18 and returns on a hanger, and a kandura is AED 15. Clothes are normally back within 24 hours in most of Dubai. We'll confirm the exact time for your building on WhatsApp.
How an International City pickup works
-
1 WhatsApp only, no app
Message your cluster and building
Message us your cluster, building number, flat number and the time you'd like us. It's on-demand laundry booked by chat: no app, and no account to set up.
-
2 At the door or front desk
Collected from your door, free
Collection in International City is free. For contactless pickup and delivery, leave the bag at your door or the front desk, if your building has one.
-
3 Each piece looked at
Inspected, then washed by itself
Our team looks at every garment by hand before washing. The load then runs in a machine kept for your order alone, with biodegradable, hypoallergenic detergent.
-
4 Express in 5 hours
Returned to you, free
Free, tracked delivery brings the clean bag back to your International City building, usually within 24 hours, or 5 hours with express booked before 2 PM.
International City wash and fold at one flat rate
Everyday clothes from anywhere in International City can go in one of our flat-rate laundry bags. Up to 6kg costs AED 65, and nobody counts the items. The driver collects the bag from your door at no charge, or from the front desk if your building has one. At our laundry it is sorted, washed on a gentle cycle, dried on low heat and folded by hand. Because this is a next-day laundry service, the bag normally returns within 24 hours, as across most of Dubai.

A bag from International City costs what a bag from anywhere in Dubai costs, because distance never changes the price. For a kandura or work shirt with a sharp crease, use Clean & Press.
What happens to your bag
The same five steps apply to every bag, whether it comes from a studio in the Spain cluster or a family flat in England. A half-full bag gets the same care as a full one, and costs the same.
- Sorting: pale clothes form one pile and dark denim and black another, and lace, thin tops and very stretchy fabric are saved for a cooler wash.
- Inspection: necklines, underarms and cuffs get a look first. In a Dubai summer humidity averages over 90% and sweat soaks into fabric, where a hot dryer can set the yellow mark for good.
- Washing: biodegradable, hypoallergenic detergent and a long rinse, so nothing comes back smelling of perfume.
- Drying: a low setting stops fitted T-shirts shrinking and keeps jogger waistbands elastic.
- Folding: each item is folded by hand, checked once more and bagged to come back to International City.
Wash and fold means exactly that, and nothing is pressed. It suits clothes that live in drawers. A work shirt or kandura that needs a crease belongs in Clean & Press.
Booking an International City pickup, step by step
- Message us on WhatsApp. Include a location pin, your cluster and your building number. International City has many clusters and buildings, so the pin saves the driver time. Choose a slot. There's no app.
- Pack your bag. Put in everyday clothes only. Check pockets for coins, earbuds and receipts, and write your name and flat number on the tag.
- Give it to the driver. We collect from your door, or from the front desk when your building has one. It costs nothing.
- We do the washing. Gentle cycle, low-heat dry, hand fold.
- The bag comes home. WhatsApp tells you it's on its way. Delivery is free too.
Have shirts for Clean & Press? Use a second bag and name both in the same message, and one visit takes the lot.
Which clothes go in the bag
Look for the care label, usually in a side seam, and find the washtub symbol. Dots inside the tub mean it can go in the bag. Leave out anything showing a hand in water or a crossed-out tub. From an International City wardrobe, these suit the bag:
- Hot-weather clothes: T-shirts, vests, polos and light linen mixes.
- Trousers: jeans, chinos and tracksuit bottoms, with zips and buttons done up.
- Gym and sport: leggings, running tops, padel shirts and sports bras.
- Underwear and sleepwear: briefs, bras, nightdresses and pyjamas. Pair up your socks.
- School and baby clothes: school shirts, PE kit and rompers with the poppers closed.
- Warmer layers: hoodies and sweatshirts for January afternoons, which reach about 22°C.
What stays out of the bag
Some things don't belong with the T-shirts. You can hand them over on the same pickup, but they are booked under a different service.
- Crisp work wear: suits, office shirts, abayas and kanduras go to Clean & Press, with a price per garment and a hanger on return.
- Crossed-out tub on the label: silk blouses, wool coats and anything beaded or sequinned go to dry cleaning.
- Hand-wash-only knits and fine lingerie: keep these at home, or WhatsApp a photo of the label before pickup.
- Damp swimwear: shut in a bag it goes stale within hours, so dry it before packing.
- Rugs, curtains and shoes: these have their own services, shown in the cards higher up.
Sorting and drying your International City load
The result is decided at the sorting table. When your bag is opened, this is what we look at.
- Colour: brand-new dark denim can tint a white vest in one wash, so lights and darks are always separate.
- Fabric weight: heavy fleece and denim would roughen thin jersey, so they're washed in a different load.
- One order per machine: your clothes never share a drum with a stranger's.
- Clean drums: we sanitise each drum after every cycle.
- Detergent: commercial-grade, yet biodegradable and hypoallergenic. Clothes sit against warm skin all day in Dubai's summer, and soap left in the fabric can irritate.
- Heat: too much shrinks cotton and slackens waistbands, so the dryer stays on low. We feel hoods, cuffs and thick seams for damp before folding.
- Folding: doing it by hand lets us spot a loose button or a stubborn mark, and we message you about it.
Pickup across International City and nearby
We collect from homes across Dubai, and that includes the whole of International City: all ten clusters, the Central District and Warsan Village. Pickup and delivery are free.
- The ten clusters: China, England, France, Persia, Greece, Russia, Spain, Morocco, Italy and Emirates. Send your cluster and building number, then hand the bag to the driver at your door. A front desk, where your building has one, may hold it for us.
- Warsan Village: its townhouses and apartments pay the same price.
- North of International City: Al Warqa has its own page.
- Further up: Mirdif has a page as well.
Unsure whether we reach your building? Send a pin, or check every area we serve.
Weekly bags on a plan
A plan makes sense if you do about one bag of washing every week. It is a budget-friendly wash and fold option: a fixed pickup day, no rebooking, and each bag costs less than a one-off order.
- Essential: AED 250 a month buys one bag a week, enough for one person or two flatmates.
- Family: AED 450 a month covers two bags a week, eight altogether, with room for uniforms, swimwear and pyjamas.
- No plan: pay AED 65 for any single bag.
Your pickups fall on the weekday you pick, every week. A single WhatsApp message starts it.
Return times, express and stains
Today's International City pickup should return within 24 hours, as it does across Dubai. If your building ever needs longer, we'll give you the return day before you book.
Want it today? Ask for same-day laundry service through express laundry delivery, booked before 2 PM. Where your address is in the express area, the bag is back 5 hours after pickup. Message us first to confirm.
- Name the stain. Coffee, chilli oil or ink: say which, and show us where.
- Mention what you've used. Bleach, washing-up liquid and stain sprays all narrow our options.
- Dry swimwear on an indoor rack. Balcony railings are out under Dubai's balcony rules, and damp clothes in a closed bag go sour quickly.
Clean and press in International City, ready for work days
Clean and press is for anything you hang up: abayas, kanduras, day dresses, work shirts and wool-mix trousers. Each garment is cleaned as its label allows, steamed by hand and returned on a hanger. A shirt is AED 18 and a kandura is AED 15. Pickup from every International City cluster costs nothing, and orders normally come back within 24 hours, like most of Dubai.
One shirtAED 18steamed and hung, ready to wear
- Priced per piece, never by weight
- Every garment steamed by hand
- Breathable covers that let damp escape
- Back in 24 hours; delicate fabrics vary
- Want a trouser crease? Just say so

What each garment price covers
That price is the whole cost for the garment. Stain treatment, the hanger and the cover are all included.
- Inspection: pockets emptied, label read, seams and buttons checked. Loose parts are noted before the piece is wet.
- Hand treatment of stains: marks are dealt with first, because warm water can fix them in the fabric.
- Cleaning to the label: cool water for cotton and blends so they hold their size, and specialist care when the label calls for it.
- Hanging to dry: filtered air in place of a tumble dryer keeps a kandura long and collars flat.
- Steaming: collar, cuffs and button strip, then the rest.
- A final check, three times over, before the breathable cover goes on.
Booking clean and press
- Send your list. Something like "four shirts, two trousers, one abaya" is plenty. Add your cluster, building number and any crease preferences.
- Separate bags. Hanging pieces go in one bag and folded clothes in another.
- We collect. Free, from your door or the front desk if your building has one.
- One piece at a time. Each garment goes from wash to steam before the next begins.
- Back on hangers. Orders from International City typically return in 24 hours, covered and ready to wear.
Clothes that suit clean and press
Ask yourself: does it crease on the way to work? If so, clean and press suits it. Typical International City wardrobe items:
- Work shirts: poplin, twill or easy-care cotton, with short or long sleeves.
- Blouses and skirts: crepe, viscose and fine cotton wrinkle easily.
- Suits and trousers: wool blends and chinos. Jackets are steamed on a form to protect the shoulders.
- Kanduras and thobes: cotton and polyester blends, steamed so the front hangs straight.
- Ghutras: pressed flat and square, ready to fold.
- Abayas and jalabiyas: crepe and georgette get steam only, which stops black fabric going shiny. Ask for a shayla price on WhatsApp.
- Kurta and sirwal sets: kept together on one ticket.
- School shirts: handy before a class photo or assembly.
Better suited to another service
- Washed at home, just creased? Try Pressing, which removes creases without a second wash.
- Silk, lace, sequins, beadwork or a heavy wool coat? Choose dry cleaning, where solvent treats them more kindly than water.
- Gym kit, T-shirts, swimwear and pyjamas? They're folded and not hung, so they belong in the Wash & Fold bag.
Not sure? WhatsApp a photo of the care label and we'll agree what to do before the driver arrives.
Reading the pressing symbol on a label
Dots on a pressing symbol show the heat limit: three for cotton and linen (about 200°C), two for wool, silk and polyester blends (about 150°C), and one for acrylic and some synthetics (about 110°C). A cross through the symbol means steam only.
- Dark crepe: a hot plate leaves a shine, so black abayas and navy trousers are only steamed.
- Collars and cuffs: people notice these first at a meeting, so we take our time over them.
- Crease: tell us if you want it sharp, soft or folded flat for a suitcase, and it goes on the ticket.
- Breathable covers: with summer humidity over 90%, plastic would hold damp against the cloth. Ours keep dust off and let moisture escape.
Where we collect hanging orders
Hanging orders from International City are collected free, like everything else. If you won't be in, leave them somewhere safe.
- The ten country clusters: China, England, France, Persia, Greece, Russia, Spain, Morocco, Italy and Emirates. The name International City alone is too broad for a driver, so give the cluster and building number. A front desk that accepts deliveries can hold your hangers.
- Warsan Village and the Central District: same free pickup, same prices.
- Nearby: Al Warqa and Mirdif have their own pages.
Turnaround and express
International City orders generally return within 24 hours, which is the standard for most of Dubai. Delicate fabrics can take longer, depending on the piece, and we give you the time when you book.
Your best shirt still in the basket and a dinner tonight? Book express before 2 PM. If your address is covered, it returns 5 hours after pickup. As coverage depends on location, send us your cluster and building on WhatsApp and wait for confirmation.
Common marks on work shirts
- Grey collar line: heat and skin oil build up on white collars. Sending the shirt within the week makes the mark much easier to lift.
- Deodorant: white patches on dark shirts and yellowing on pale ones are treated differently, so say which it is.
- Oud and perfume: oil-based scents can darken pale cotton. Point it out and name the scent.
- Extras: tell us if a button is loose, you want shirts folded for travel, or you'd rather have no crease.
Bedding for International City homes, priced piece by piece
Bed and bath is for sheets, pillows, mattress protectors, bathrobes and bath towels, plus the big things such as a king duvet or a quilted comforter that a home machine can't manage. Each piece has a price: AED 25 for a sheet, AED 7 for a towel and AED 56 for a duvet. We collect and deliver to your International City building for free. Bulky item washing takes longer, with duvets, comforters and blankets needing 48 to 72 hours, and we give you the return day when you book.

- Each piece has its own price
- Big drums give a king duvet room to move
- Duvets and quilts take 48 to 72 hours

What the bedding price covers
One price covers the full job. Sheets and pillowcases get bed linen wash and fold, which means washed, dried until even the corners are dry, and folded flat. They're charged per piece. A pillowcase gets the same care as a king duvet, and is simply done faster.
- First look: corners, stitching and any stain you mentioned are checked before washing.
- Drum space: large machines let a king duvet open out so water reaches the filling as well as the cover.
- Mild on skin: a hypoallergenic, biodegradable detergent suits bedding that touches your skin all night.
- Fully dry: we feel the centre of a duvet and keep drying until it matches the edges. Outside isn't an option, since Dubai's balcony rules don't allow airing laundry there.
- Packed at the end: nothing is bagged until everything in the order is dry.
Duvet covers cost AED 31 each, because they're washed separately from the duvet.
How to book a bedding collection
- Say what you have. "A king duvet, six pillowcases and all the towels" will do. Add your cluster, building number and a pin.
- We reply with a pickup slot and a return day.
- Pack up. Roll the duvet firmly and tie it around the middle. Put sheets and towels together in a second bag.
- We collect at no charge, from your door in International City or the front desk if your building has one.
- We keep you posted on WhatsApp until it's back.
The chat is open at any hour, so booking late on a Friday is fine.
Duvet, comforter or blanket
Duvets and comforters both cost AED 56, single to king. The difference is how we check them.
- Duvet: a plain case of loose filling, used inside a cover. The cover comes off and is charged separately.
- Comforter: stitched in squares and used on its own. Squares hold water at different rates, so we go through it row by row.
- Blanket: AED 26 for a standard size and more for larger ones.
- Bedcover: AED 29. It sits on top of the bed and gathers the most dust, including the fine sand that gets in when it's windy. Tell us about any tassels or beads.
A split seam or leaking filling? Send a photo before pickup and we'll agree whether washing is safe.
Everyday bedding
Sheets and pillowcases are changed most often in hot weather, so they wear out first.
- Sheets: AED 25, flat or fitted. Feel round the fitted corners before packing, as earrings and hair clips hide there.
- Pillowcases: AED 9. Hair oil and face cream leave greasy patches, so point them out in your message instead of scrubbing.
- Pillows: AED 19 each. Fold one in half. If it stays folded, the filling is tired and washing won't help. Memory foam stays at home.
- Mattress protectors: AED 35. A waterproof backing can't take a hot dryer, so send a photo of the label.
Towel laundry service for International City, plus robes and sofa covers
Rough towels usually still hold soap. Ours are rinsed twice and tumbled until completely dry. A bath towel costs AED 7 and a bathrobe AED 19.
- Gym and pool towels: don't leave them zipped in a sports bag, as they sour fast in the heat.
- Bathrobes: the thick collar dries last, so we check it last. Include the belt.
- Bath mats: cotton is fine. A mat with a crumbling rubber back isn't.
- Sofa covers: AED 46 for a regular zip-off cover. Photograph the sofa first, so every cover goes back on the right cushion.
- Tablecloths: AED 19. Let spills dry and tell us what caused them.
Keep damp towels away from duvets, as moisture soaks into filling quickly in summer.
What to leave out of the bedding bag
These can't be machine washed, by us or by you:
- Electric blankets and anything containing wires.
- Memory foam pillows and toppers.
- Weighted blankets with bead filling.
- Care labels with a crossed-out tub. Unsure? Send a photo and we'll reply before the driver sets out.
Pack clothes separately: everyday wear is for Wash & Fold and hanging pieces are for Clean & Press. A single driver visit to your International City building can take all of them. Our bed and bath guide has more on caring for bedding.
Why a duvet takes 48 to 72 hours
For duvet and comforter laundering, drying is the slow part. Feather or polyester filling holds water deep inside while the cover feels dry. Put away damp, even in an air-conditioned flat, a duvet soon smells musty.
- Plan for 48 to 72 hours: duvets, quilts and comforters spend two to three days with us.
- Confirmed in the chat: we give the return day in the same WhatsApp conversation as your booking.
Renting your flat to short-stay guests? Changeover linen is the job of our Airbnb laundry service. This tab covers bedding you use yourself.
Bedding pickup across International City
Drivers go to every International City cluster and to Warsan Village, with free pickup and delivery.
- Your building: bags are taken from your door, or from the front desk if your building accepts parcels. Give your cluster and building number so the driver starts at the right entrance.
- Close by: Al Warqa and Mirdif have their own pages.
- Further away? Send a pin and we'll check before you book.
Your address doesn't change the price. A duvet from an International City flat costs what it costs from any villa in Dubai.

Questions about laundry in International City, answered
What does booking a laundry service in International City involve?
The driver collects your bag from your door and brings it back clean. Book with one WhatsApp message giving your cluster, building number and a time. No app is needed. Everyday clothes are washed and folded, while work shirts, abayas and kanduras are steamed by hand and returned on hangers.
- Bags are priced per bag, hung items per piece
- Your load gets a machine to itself, cleaned afterwards
- Only need creases out? Ask about Pressing
Where is the nearest laundry to my International City building?
Our van is the nearest, because it comes to your building. If you search for a laundry service near me in International City, you will find shops that mean carrying a heavy bag in the heat. We collect from every cluster and charge nothing for pickup or delivery.
- There are ten clusters, so a location pin helps
- A front desk, if your building has one, can hold the bag
- No sign-up, just a WhatsApp chat
Can my International City laundry come back today?
Yes, if you book express before 2 PM. Express returns your bag five hours after pickup, where your address is covered. Without express, our next-day laundry service brings it back within 24 hours in most of Dubai. Book early and check coverage on WhatsApp first.
- Send your cluster and building so we can confirm express
- Bulky bedding such as a duvet takes 48 to 72 hours
- Delicate items can take longer, and we'll tell you
How much does laundry cost in International City, and is there a minimum?
Washing is charged by the bag and hung clothes by the piece. One fixed price covers a 6kg bag however full you pack it, and a 12kg bag takes bigger loads. AED 50 is the minimum order, but smaller orders are still collected for a small fee. Collection and return are free, with no hidden fees.
- For weekly washing, a monthly plan is the most affordable laundry service: Essential gives four bags and Family eight
- Clean & Press has its own price for each shirt, kandura and abaya
- Every AED price is further up this page, in the prices section
Do you collect from every cluster, including Warsan Village?
Yes, from all ten clusters and from Warsan Village. The clusters are China, England, France, Persia, Greece, Russia, Spain, Morocco, Italy and Emirates. To help the driver find the right entrance, send your cluster, building number and a pin, and put your flat number on the bag tag.
- The price and return time are the same in every cluster
- A pin shows the driver your entrance
- Warsan Village is covered at the same price
Can I get work shirts and kanduras pressed in International City?
Yes, with Clean & Press, which has a price for every garment. Each piece is cleaned to suit its fabric, steamed by hand and returned on a hanger under a breathable cover. Don't put work shirts in your wash bag, or they may come back creased.
- White kanduras are washed apart from coloured clothes
- Back on hangers, or folded if you ask
- Creases in or out, your choice
Do you collect dry cleaning in International City?
Yes. Dry cleaning has its own price list and its own bag. Silk, sequins, heavy embroidery and any item marked not to be washed in water belong there, not in a washing machine. Tell us in the chat which items are in the dry cleaning bag. One driver takes both bags together.
- A crossed-out tub on the label means no water
- Embellished abayas are better dry cleaned
- Both bags go in one visit
How should I pack sweaty gym kit before an International City pickup?
Let it dry before you pack it, and keep it loose. Polyester that is sweaty and shut in a bag turns sour fast in the heat, and the smell can pass to cotton beside it. An hour on a chair, turned inside out, is enough before it goes in the bag for the driver.
- Leggings and running tops belong in the wash and fold bag
- Book soon after your workout, not days later
- Always dry it before it goes in the bag
Can I dry washing on my balcony in International City?
No. Under Dubai's balcony rules, washing visible from outside is a violation, and you can be fined. Drying indoors is slow in summer anyway, because humid air keeps towels damp until they start to smell. Send them to us instead, and they come back dry and folded.
- Humidity slows any indoor airer
- Thick towels dried right through, edges too
- Folded and ready to put away
Will my International City laundry be washed with other people's?
No. Each customer's load gets its own machine, and the drum is sanitised before the next order goes in. Our detergent is commercial-grade, biodegradable and hypoallergenic, so it is kind to sensitive skin and leaves no heavy smell. If you have an allergy, tell us when you book and we'll note it.
- Clean smell, no heavy perfume
- Drum sanitised between customers
- Free pickup from every International City cluster
