Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery at Barceló Al Jaddaf

Most guests fill the bag with a few days of ordinary clothes. These all work well in a wash and fold bag:

• T-shirts and tops: washed together and folded flat, so they pack easily.
• Shorts and trousers: ideal for a warm week of sightseeing and meetings.
• Gym kit: from the hotel fitness centre or a morning run.
• Jeans: heavy, so they count towards the weight.
• Underwear and socks: washed with everything else, in the same bag.
• Swimwear: from the pool or the beach, washed cool.

Suits, silk and traditional wear belong on the Clean and Press list instead. Those pieces are better handled one at a time, and they come back on hangers, not folded. Not sure about a piece? Message us a photo of the label and we will tell you which list it belongs on.

1. Message us. Send the hotel name, your room number and a location pin on WhatsApp.
2. Pick a time. Choose a slot that suits your meetings, your tours or your flight.
3. Hand over the bag. Our driver meets you at the lobby, or the concierge desk if the hotel allows it, and checks the items with you.
4. Pay by link. We text a secure link that takes debit cards, credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. No cash or cards are used in the lobby.
5. Get it back. Once the link is paid, your clothes go out for delivery to the hotel.

Need shirts pressed as well? Add them from the Clean and Press tab and the driver takes everything in one visit.

Your bag is not tipped in with anyone else's. Here is what happens once it reaches the wash team:

• Sorted: whites, darks and delicate pieces are separated.
• Cool water: clothes are washed cool to protect colours and stretch.
• Detergent: commercial-grade, biodegradable and hypoallergenic, with only a light scent.
• Low-heat drying: gentle drying helps T-shirts and gym kit keep their size.
• Folded by hand: ready to go straight back in the suitcase.

Each order stays on its own, so nothing is mixed up with another guest's laundry. If a piece needs more than a cool wash, tell us and it moves to the Clean and Press list. Hotel towels and robes stay in the room, so please keep them out of the bag.

A few things do better away from the wash and fold bag:

• Suits and jackets: use Clean and Press.
• Beaded or sequinned pieces: these go to dry cleaning, not the machine.
• Silk and satin: give them a place on the pressing list.
• Leather and shoes: see our shoe care service.
• Anything with no label: tell us first, because items with no care label are cleaned at your own risk.

Hotel towels and robes stay in the room, so please do not put them in the bag. Anything you are unsure about can wait for the driver, who goes through the bag with you at pickup. Not sure? Ask in the chat before the driver arrives.

Bright colours can bleed in a first wash, and marks and allergies are easy to deal with if we know before the wash.

• Colour run: tell us if a piece is new or brightly dyed, and we sort it with care.
• Stains: tell us what caused it. Coffee, sunscreen and food marks are treated by hand first.
• Sensitive skin: the detergent is hypoallergenic, with a light scent only.
• Allergies: write them in the chat and we note them on the order.
• Babywear: it gets the same mild detergent.

If a stain is old, we say so, and we still treat it by hand before the wash. Light and dark colours are sorted apart as standard. You do not need to explain anything at the lobby. A short message when you book is enough.

Barceló Al Jaddaf is at 326 Al Khail Road in Al Jaddaf, about a ten-minute drive from Dubai International Airport. Our driver comes to you at the hotel.

• Lobby or concierge: hand over the bag there, if the hotel allows it.
• Location pin: send one so the driver finds the right entrance.
• Name and room: put them on the order so the bag reaches the right guest.
• Early flight: book before 2 PM the day before, or ask about express.
• Late checkout: tell us when you leave and we plan the delivery around it.

The hotel has a spa, a pool and a 24-hour fitness centre, so gym kit and swimwear are common in our bags. Send a photo of the entrance if you think the driver might struggle to find it. It saves time for everyone. A quick message when you are back from your day is all we need.

Staying a few weeks, or back every month?

• Essential, AED 250 a month: four bags, one collected each week.
• Family, AED 450 a month: eight bags, two collected each week.
• No plan: AED 65 for each 6kg bag, whenever you need one.

Plans suit long stays and repeat visits. A short trip is simpler with a single bag. Both plans use the same 6kg wash and fold bag. Pickup and delivery stay free, and every bag is checked with the driver before the payment link is sent. Ask in the chat which plan fits your dates.

Wash and fold is a next-day laundry service, with express for the days that cannot wait.

• Standard: back within 24 hours of pickup.
• Express: 5 hours if you book before 2 PM and your address is covered.
• Late evening: message us at any hour and we book the next free slot.
• Busy days: event weekends fill up, so book early.

Express is for urgent pieces, so keep that bag small if you can. Ask in the chat whether your pin is inside the express area. For a flight, tell us the departure time and we work back from it. Summer humidity averages over 90 percent, so damp clothes pile up fast, and a quick bag is worth booking early.

Clean and Press is for pieces that should not go in a wash and fold bag. Each one is treated on its own.

• Checked: we look for marks, loose beads and the care label.
• Cleaned: washed or dry cleaned, whichever the label calls for.
• Steamed: pressed by hand, piece by piece.
• Hung: returned on a hanger in a breathable cover.
• Checked again: three checks in all before it leaves us.

Shirts, trousers, dresses, suits and traditional wear all go through the same steps. Delicate pieces can take longer, and we tell you the time at pickup. The list can mix anything: a suit, three shirts, a kandura and a dress. Each piece is priced on its own, so you see the total in the payment link and nothing is added later.

1. List it. Message the pieces you have, for example "two shirts, one suit, one dress".
2. Add the deadline. Tell us the event or flight so we can plan the return.
3. Hand over. The driver collects at the lobby, if the hotel allows it, and checks each piece with you.
4. Pay by link. The secure link arrives by text after that check.
5. Receive. Your pieces come back on hangers.

That is the whole list. There is nothing to download. Not sure what to call a garment? Describe it or send a photo, and we put it on the right line. The driver confirms the list with you at pickup.

These pieces are why most guests choose us. Here is how each is handled.

• Suits: cleaned and pressed as a set, so jacket and trousers stay the same shade.
• Shirts and blouses: collars and cuffs are checked by hand.
• Evening dresses: loose beads are noted before cleaning.
• Kanduras: collars and cuffs checked, then steamed and hung.
• Ghutras: pressed flat and hung.
• Abayas: basic and delicate have separate prices.
• Kurta sets: men's and women's are priced separately.
• Ties: cleaned flat and returned on a hanger.
• Jalabiyas: steamed by hand and hung.
• Coats: a winter coat is cleaned and steamed for the trip home.

Every price is in the table above, so you can add up your list before you message us. If an outfit has several pieces, such as a suit with a waistcoat, list each piece so the price is clear.

• Clothes already clean? Choose pressing only and skip the wash.
• Creased in the suitcase? A pressing list is quick to send.
• In a hurry? Pressing only suits a clean shirt before a meeting.
• Not sure? Message a photo and we will tell you which one fits.

Silk, satin, crepe and chiffon mark easily and do not like heat or rough handling. This is how we treat them.

• Label first: we read it before choosing a process.
• Crepe and soft fabrics: steamed by hand, not pressed flat.
• Creases: steamed out by hand, piece by piece.
• Perfume and sweat: tell us, because they leave marks that show on satin.
• Beads and sequins: checked before cleaning, since loose ones can come off.
• Ask first: if a piece is very old or very special, tell the driver at pickup.

Silk blouses and chiffon dresses are cleaned on their own and never mixed with a bag of everyday washing.

Delicate pieces can take longer, depending on the piece, so book early if you need one for a dinner. For an urgent dress, ask us about express in the chat.

Tell us the time you need the piece back, not just the day. A suit for a 7 PM dinner needs a different plan from a shirt for a flight.

Book before 2 PM for express where your address is covered. Otherwise 24 hours is the standard. Weddings and galas tend to land on the same days, so book early for those dates.

Hot days and busy dinners leave marks. Here is what we do with the common ones.

• Spills: tell us what it was, and when, before we start.
• Yellowing: collars and underarms are looked at by hand first.
• Deodorant: white marks on dark fabric are treated before cleaning.
• Old stains: some do not lift fully, which is why the cause helps.
• Extras: a photo of the mark in the chat helps the team plan.
