4. Pay by link. A secure link arrives by text, and cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay all work.
5. Get it back. Your clean, folded laundry returns to the hotel, usually the next day.

Because payment is by link, contactless pickup and delivery is the normal way it works.

If the care label shows a washtub, it can normally go in. These pieces suit a bag best:

• Swimwear after a dip in the rooftop pool
• Casual shirts, pyjamas and loungewear

Everything is washed by colour and folded flat. Unsure about one piece? Message us before pickup and tell us what its label says, and we will say whether it belongs in the bag.

Some pieces need more than a wash and a fold. Check the label before you pack:

• A crossed-out washtub means no water at all, so the piece should stay out of the bag.
• A circle with a P or F means professional cleaning. Send those with your Clean & Press pieces instead.
• Suits and silk blouses look best hung, so they return on hangers rather than folded.
• No care label? Tell us before pickup. A piece without one is cleaned at your risk.

Travelling with something precious? Leave it out and ask us first.

Summers in Dubai are hot and humid. July and August highs go above 43°C, and humidity averages over 90%. That is hard on clothes in a few ways.

• Sweat sets. Collars and underarms take the worst of it, and marks harden if worn shirts sit in a bag for days.
• Damp smells. Clothes left in a closed suitcase turn musty quickly.
• Pool days. Wet swimwear packed away for the flight home gets smelly, so send it soon after your swim.

Winter is cooler, with January highs around 22°C, but clothes still pick up dust and sweat in the city. Send worn clothes soon after you wear them and they come back fresh.

A wash and fold bag is washed as a load, but it is not washed blind. Message us before pickup about anything that needs a second look:

• A stain you know about. Say what it is and roughly where. Coffee, sauce and oil each need different handling.
• Fabrics that need care. Mention anything delicate or brand new and we wash it gently.
• Colours that may run. A new dark shirt can bleed, so flag it.
• Something to keep apart. A favourite piece with a strong dye can be flagged for extra attention.

Please empty the pockets before you hand the bag over, and keep passports, cards and cash with you.

Take one white shirt, worn through a day of meetings in Dubai's heat, and follow it through the laundry.

• Checked on arrival. We look at the collar and cuffs, where sweat and oil gather.
• Washed with care. It goes through a cycle suited to the fabric, never a rough one.
• Pressed by hand. Collar, cuffs and sleeves are shaped on the press.
• Back on a hanger. It returns ready to wear, and the price covers all of it.

Traditional wear is everyday work for us, and each piece has its own small rules.

• Kandura: the collar band and cuffs see the most wear, so they are treated before washing to keep the white bright.
• Abaya: priced as basic or delicate, so tell us which one. Mention any beading or stones.
• Ghutra: washed gently and pressed to shape, away from heavier pieces.
• Jalabiya: returned pressed on a hanger, ready for an evening out.
• Kurta: men's and women's kurtas have separate prices.

For a conference week, send shirts and suits together. Shirts are cleaned and pressed, and a two-piece suit comes back as a pair on one hanger. If the first meeting is tomorrow morning, ask for express suit pressing and give us the time you need it. A jacket worn through long days in the heat benefits from a clean between events.

The little symbols on a label tell you what a piece can take. Here is how to read the common ones.

• Washtub with a number: the hottest wash it can take, in degrees. A tub with a hand means hand wash only.
• Pressing symbol with dots: one dot is a cool press, two a warm one and three a hot one. A crossed-out symbol means do not press.
• Circle: professional cleaning. A letter inside tells the cleaner which process to use.
• Crossed-out circle: no dry cleaning.

If a label has faded or is missing, tell us when you book. Silk and wool blends often carry the gentlest settings, so check before you pack a favourite.

• Hang them on arrival. A pressed shirt left on a bed loses its line within hours.
• Give them room. Packed tightly, collars crush and sleeves crease.
• Keep them out of the bathroom. Steam from a hot shower softens a pressed collar.
• Carry the suit on top. On the flight home, lay it over the rest of your clothes.

Clean and press is usually back the next day. For a shirt you need tonight, express suit pressing takes 5 hours if you order before 2 PM and we cover your address. Message us on WhatsApp first and we confirm.

• Tell us the time of the event when you book.
• Late afternoon orders may miss the cut-off, so book earlier in the day.

Clean and press is careful work, so a short note helps us do it right.

• Name the mark. Wine, oil, ink and deodorant each need different treatment.
• Say how long it has been there. A fresh mark lifts more easily than an old one.
• Say what it is made of. Silk, wool and linen are treated differently.
• Mention anything unusual. Beading and sequins are checked by hand.
