Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery at JW Marriott Hotel Marina

Every bag follows the same five steps, whether it comes from a hotel room, a serviced apartment or the lobby desk at JW Marriott Hotel Marina. Nothing is rushed past a step, and nothing from another customer goes into your load. Most of the work happens before the machine starts, because a well-sorted load washes better and lasts longer.

• Sorting by hand: clothes are split by colour and by fabric, so whites stay apart from darks and a pale T-shirt is not greyed by dark jeans.
• Checking for marks: we look for stains and spots that need treating before the wash, such as sun cream on a collar or a coffee drop on a cuff.
• Washing: your bag runs in its own machine with a commercial-grade detergent that is also biodegradable and hypoallergenic.
• Drying on low heat: a gentle dry keeps cotton, activewear and swimwear in good shape, and helps stop shrinking.
• Folding and bagging: everything is folded, packed and brought back to you at the hotel.

It is the same hotel laundry service whether you send one bag for the whole trip or one bag every week.

Booking takes a couple of minutes, and you do not need an app. Here is how a pickup works from start to finish.

1. Message us. Send JW Marriott Hotel Marina, your name and a pickup time on WhatsApp. The chat is open at any hour, so you can do this from the airport or from bed.
2. Fill the bag. Put in everyday clothes up to 6kg. Leave out anything you want pressed on a hanger, and send those in Clean & Press.
3. Hand it over. The driver meets you in the lobby, or at the concierge desk if the hotel allows it, and checks the items with you.
4. Pay by link. We text you a secure payment link. You pay by debit or credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. We do not take cash or cards in the lobby.
5. It comes back. Once the link is paid, your clothes go out for delivery, folded and bagged.

If it goes in your own washing machine at home, it can go in this bag. You pay for the bag, not for each piece, so there is no need to count anything. A full bag costs the same as one that is a bit lighter, up to the 6kg limit. Most people find it easiest to fill the bag a little at a time over a few days, then book the pickup when it is full.

• Holiday basics: T-shirts, shorts, underwear and socks.
• Pool and beach: swimsuits, cover-ups and light summer dresses.
• Workouts: gym tops, leggings and sports socks.
• Evenings in: pyjamas, joggers and sweatshirts.
• Children's clothes: play clothes and sleepsuits, washed in the same gentle detergent.

Some pieces are better treated one by one, and a few are better kept out of a bag altogether. Check the list before you pack, and ask us on WhatsApp if you are unsure about a piece.

• Work shirts and suits that must hang straight. Send them as Clean & Press instead, so they come back on a hanger.
• Silk, beaded or very fine pieces. Ask our dry cleaning team on WhatsApp first, and tell them the fabric.
• Anything with no care label. We can still clean it, but at your own risk, and we would rather you knew before you booked.
• Items you need back tonight. A bag is washed and dried as a full load, so for one urgent piece, book express in Clean & Press.

A load that is sorted well comes out better, and this is where most of the care happens. Here is what we do before, during and after the wash, so you know what happens to your clothes once the driver leaves the lobby.

• Colours first. Whites, lights and darks are separated, so dye from a new pair of jeans does not travel onto a white shirt.
• Then weight. Heavy items like sweatshirts are kept away from light tops, which helps everything wash and dry evenly.
• Your own machine. Your order runs alone, and the machine is sanitised after the cycle, before anyone else's clothes go in.
• A mild cycle. Swimwear, activewear and thin cotton get a gentler wash than a pair of denim jeans would need.
• Low heat to dry. Hot dryers shrink cotton and wear out stretch fabrics, so we keep the heat down.

If you spot a stain, tell us on WhatsApp what caused it, and we treat it by hand before the machine.

Your main handover point is the lobby of JW Marriott Hotel Marina, or the concierge desk if the hotel allows it. Our drivers also collect from other places nearby, so a friend staying close can book the same way. If you are in a serviced apartment for several weeks, a monthly plan can save you rebooking each time. Your bag is collected on a set day, so laundry stops being something you have to remember. You can also mix a plan with extra one-off bags, if guests come to stay.

• Essential: one bag a week, billed at AED 250 a month.
• Family: two bags a week, billed at AED 450 a month.
• No plan: book a single bag at AED 65 whenever you need one.

Standard orders come back within 24 hours. If you need clothes sooner, book before 2 PM and ask about express, which takes 5 hours where your address is covered. Tell us your flight or event time and we say honestly whether it can be done.

• Paying: after the driver checks your items, we text a secure payment link. Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay all work. There is no cash or card payment in the lobby.
• Delivery: once the link is paid, your clothes go out for delivery to the hotel.
• Lost or damaged: we cover up to 10 times the cleaning price of that item. Pieces with no care label, or already damaged, are cleaned at your own risk.

If something worries you, say so when you book and we look at it before cleaning.

Every price in the table is for one piece, and it covers the whole job from the first check to the hanger. There are no extras added later, so the price you see is the price you pay. Here is what each price includes.

• Checked first: we look at the care label and mark any stains before cleaning starts.
• Cleaned to suit the fabric: cottons, silks and wool are not all cleaned the same way, so each piece gets the method it needs.
• Steamed by hand: each piece is shaped and finished one at a time, not run through in a pile.
• Hung and covered: it comes back on a hanger in a breathable cover, ready to hang in a wardrobe or pack.

Pickup and delivery are free on top of that.

Anything you would not put in a bag is a good fit here, especially when you have somewhere to be. Think of the pieces you packed for the dinner, the meeting or the wedding, and which have been crushed in the case.

• Work shirts: for a meeting, a conference or a client lunch.
• Blouses and skirts: light fabrics that crease badly in a suitcase.
• Suits and trousers: the suit is priced as one piece, jacket and trousers together.
• Dresses: for a dinner, a wedding or a gala evening.
• Kanduras and ghutras: cleaned, steamed and returned for the occasion.
• Abayas and jalabiyas: basic and delicate prices differ, so tell us the fabric.
• Kurtas: men's and women's pieces are priced separately.

Not every piece belongs in this tab. A quick check gets better results, and sometimes costs you less.

• Already clean, just creased? Our pressing service steams it without a wash, which suits a shirt that only crushed in the case.
• Silk, sequins or designer wear? Send these for dry cleaning and tell us the fabric.
• A bag of everyday clothes? That is simpler in Wash & Fold.

The care label tells us what the maker allows, and it is the first thing we read. The symbols matter more than most guests expect, especially for a piece that has travelled in a suitcase for days. This is how we read the common ones.

• A tub symbol means the item can be washed, and the number shows the maximum temperature.
• A circle means dry cleaning. A cross through it means the piece cannot be dry cleaned.
• Dots on a pressing symbol tell us how much heat the fabric can take, so a silk blouse is steamed gently and a cotton shirt a little firmer.
• No label at all: we can still clean the piece, but it is done at your own risk.

If a label looks worn or unclear, tell us the fabric on WhatsApp and we take it from there. It is better to ask before cleaning than after.

Hand pieces over in the lobby of JW Marriott Hotel Marina, or at the concierge desk if the hotel allows it. Clean pieces come back to the same place on hangers, so there is no need to wait around in your room. Pickup and return are free every time.

• Near the mall: the hotel joins Dubai Marina Mall, so the lobby is easy for the driver to find.
• Nearby: we also collect in JBR and JLT, if your plans take you there.
• Payment: after the driver checks your items, a secure link is texted to you, so nothing is paid in the lobby.

Holiday clothes pick up marks that office clothes rarely meet. These are the common ones, and what to tell us.

• Collar marks: sweat and skin oil show on white shirts first. Tell us if a collar is marked and we treat it by hand.
• Sun cream: it leaves a yellow stain on light cotton that can set if left. Send those shirts soon after the beach.
• Perfume and make-up: a spot on a silk blouse or a dress needs care, so name the cause when you book.
• Anything else: food, drinks and ink are treated in the same way. Some old marks may not come out fully.
