Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery at Majestic City Retreat

Wash and fold is for the clothes you wear and wash again and again, the ones that do not need a hanger. Fill the bag, tie it, and it comes back washed, dried and folded in neat piles that go straight into a drawer or a suitcase.

• Daily wear: T-shirts, polos, jeans, shorts, chinos and pyjamas.
• Gym and pool: sports kit, swimwear and the socks that go with them.
• Underwear and socks: best kept in a small bag inside the main one, so pairs stay together.
• Light layers: cardigans, knitwear and sweatshirts for cold meeting rooms and cold flights.

Mixed fabrics can share a bag. Cotton, polyester, denim and jersey all go together, and we separate them by colour once the bag is open.

Pack a spare bag for dirty clothes when you travel. At Majestic City Retreat, you can give that bag to the driver in the lobby, when the hotel permits it, and forget about it until it returns.

Fill it with anything that is not delicate. Take out chargers, cards, cash and jewellery before tying it. If a piece is precious, or has a stain you know about, say so in your message and we look at it first.

A bag sent the day before you fly home works well. Ask for express if your flight is that evening.

Before anything goes in the machine, your clothes are split into whites, lights and darks. That stops a pale shirt turning grey next to a pair of dark jeans. It is a small step, and it is the one that protects your favourite clothes.

The wash uses a mild, biodegradable soap with a faint scent. Afterwards the drying is kept gentle, so cotton stays soft instead of shrinking. Each order has the drum to itself.

A hot city and a hotel pool mean a lot of swimwear and sports kit. Send them in the bag, preferably rinsed first and not left in a wet pile at the bottom of a case.

We wash them gently and dry them on low heat to protect the stretch and the shape. If something is delicate, beaded or has a lining, tell us and we will move it to dry cleaning, where it gets the right process for that fabric.

Hand the bag to our driver in the lobby of Majestic City Retreat, if the hotel lets drivers in. If it does not, leave the bag with the concierge. Before leaving, the driver counts the pieces and checks them with you.

Next comes a payment link by text. Pay with a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and the washing starts. Nobody asks for cash or card details at the desk.

Clean clothes return to the same spot. Contactless pickup and delivery works too, where the hotel agrees.

Our normal wash and fold is a next-day laundry service. Message in the morning, and the folded bag is usually at Majestic City Retreat within 24 hours.

For pieces you need earlier, ask for express laundry delivery: 5 hours for orders booked before 2 PM at addresses we cover. For a short stay, it is a same-day laundry service in practice, and a handy same-day hotel laundry option when plans change.

Here for a month or longer? A plan can cost less than single bags. The Essential plan is AED 250 a month, and Family is AED 450 a month. A single bag is AED 65.

Leave these out of your bag:

• Pieces without a care label: we still clean them, at your own risk.
• Pieces already damaged: same rule, at your own risk.
• Valuables: jewellery, passports, cards and cash stay with you.
• Suits and evening wear: send these to Clean & Press, where they are pressed and hung.

When we lose or damage a piece, cover goes up to ten times its cleaning cost. There is no mending or alteration service, so we stick to cleaning.

On a business trip to Dubai, a pressed shirt matters. Hand your shirts and blouses over at Majestic City Retreat and we return them cleaned, steamed and on hangers, ready to put on.

Shirts are AED 18 each. We look at collars and cuffs first and treat any stain by hand before the wash. Blouses in silk or another soft fabric are steamed, so they keep their shape and do not shine.

Pack nothing else with them. Hangers travel better in a garment bag, which you can ask the driver about at the lobby.

A suit that spent the flight in a suitcase needs more than a shake. Jacket and trousers are cleaned together, so the colour matches, then pressed and returned on hangers.

It is guest dry cleaning for an event, a wedding or a big meeting. Tell us the time and we plan around it.

Traditional wear is a daily job for us. A kandura is AED 15. White cloth shows every mark, so the collar and cuffs get a close look first, and the kandura comes back pressed on a hanger.

Ghutras are cleaned and pressed flat to hold their shape. Jalabiyas and kurtas are handled one at a time, since many have embroidery.

An abaya is cleaned by its label. A basic one is AED 18, and a delicate one has its own price in the table. Steaming keeps the drape and the matt finish, and it comes back hung.

Evening dresses can have beads, lace or fine silk. Tell us the fabric when you book and we choose the right process for it, then return the dress on a hanger with its shape intact. For a wedding guest, that is one less thing to worry about on the day.

Shirts, trousers and other everyday pieces from Majestic City Retreat are back in a day. Beaded dresses and fine silk take longer, since they need slower handling and more checking. We tell you how long at pickup.

Cover for loss or damage is up to ten times the cleaning cost of the item. We do not mend or alter clothes.

If your clothes are already clean but creased from the suitcase, choose pressing only. We steam and press them without a wash, then hang them, so a shirt or trousers are ready to wear the same evening.

A coat is cleaned as one piece and returned on a hanger, which helps for cold flights and chilly meeting rooms. A tie and trousers can ride along with your suit, so the full outfit is back together.
