Same Day Wash & Fold Laundry Pickup & Delivery at JA The Manor Hotel

Your flat price covers every step, from the moment the driver takes the bag to the moment it is back at JA The Manor Hotel. A small bag and a full one go through the same steps.

• Checking in: we look through the bag and note anything unusual, such as a stain or a label that says not to tumble dry.
• Sorting: whites and light colours are kept apart from darks, and stretchy or delicate pieces get a softer cycle.
• Washing: your load runs in its own machine with mild, commercial-grade, hypoallergenic detergent.
• Drying: low heat stops cotton from shrinking and keeps gym leggings stretchy.
• Folding: each piece is folded flat and packed so it goes straight into a suitcase.

You pay by link after the driver has checked your items, and the order goes out for delivery once it is paid.

Almost anything you wear every day can go in. A good rule is that if it does not need a hanger, it belongs in the bag.

• Everyday clothes: T-shirts, jeans, shorts, socks, pyjamas and underwear.
• Gym kit: leggings, sports tops and shorts from the hotel gym.
• Swimwear: a swimsuit from the rooftop pool is fine, and it is better washed soon than left damp.
• Casual shirts: polos and knits that are happy to be folded.

Work shirts, suits and traditional wear are better on the Clean & Press tab, where they come back on hangers. Not sure where something goes? Send a photo of its label on WhatsApp and we will tell you.

You do not need to go anywhere. Once the pickup is booked, bring the bag down to the lobby at the time you chose.

• At the lobby or concierge: the driver collects it there, if the hotel allows it.
• Not allowed? We will arrange another handover point with you, such as the hotel entrance.
• On the bag: write your name and the hotel on a note so it is never mixed up with another guest.

We have no link with the hotel, so please ask at reception if you are not sure what is allowed.

Most bags are back within 24 hours across most of Dubai. A bag handed over on the morning of day one is ready to pack on day two.

• Standard: back within 24 hours.
• Express: about 5 hours if you book before 2 PM and your address is covered.
• Checking out soon? Tell us the date and time when you book, and we will say what is realistic.

Express suits a few urgent pieces better than a full bag, so send those on their own if the clock is tight.

Not everything in a suitcase is the same, so we do not wash it all the same way. Here is how the main fabrics are handled.

• Cotton T-shirts and jeans: a normal cycle and low heat drying, so they hold their size.
• Stretchy gym wear: a gentler cycle, because heat wears out the stretch first.
• Polos and knits: washed with care and folded flat, never hung to dry.
• Dark colours: kept away from whites, so a black T-shirt cannot dull a white one.
• Pieces with no care label: washed gently and at your own risk, so please tell us when you book.

If something should never go in a machine, move it to the Clean & Press tab or choose dry cleaning. A delicate piece is better judged by hand than by a bag price, and we would rather say so than guess.

You never pay in the lobby, and there is nothing to carry. Payment is by secure link only.

• The check: the driver goes through your items and notes what is in the bag.
• The link: we text a secure link to your phone straight after.
• How to pay: debit or credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. We do not take cash or cards at the hotel.
• Delivery: your clothes go out for delivery as soon as the payment is done.

If anything is lost or damaged, cover is up to 10 times the cleaning price of that item. That does not apply to pieces that were already damaged or had no care label.

Most guests need one bag, and that is fine. If your stay runs to weeks, a plan can be easier than booking each time, and the price stays the same.

• One-off bag: AED 65 for a 6kg bag, with no plan and nothing to sign.
• Essential plan: one bag every week for AED 250 a month.
• Family plan: two bags every week for AED 450 a month.

Plans suit a long project stay or a family settling in nearby. Ask on WhatsApp which one fits your dates, and we will explain how the set pickup days work.

Only send what belongs to you. The hotel looks after its own linen, so please leave these where they are.

• Hotel towels and robes: they stay in the room.
• Slippers and other room items: not for the bag.
• Your own towels: a gym towel or a swim towel is fine in the bag.

LPlaundry is independent of the hotel and its group, and we only wash what a guest hands to our driver. We do not handle the hotel's own laundry, and we do not know its prices or rules beyond what you tell us. If you are unsure, ask at the front desk before you pack the bag, and write your name on a note inside it.

Five days of meetings means five shirts that must look sharp. Pack them in the bag with a note, and we take care of the rest.

• Checked by hand: collars and cuffs get a look first, because that is where a long day shows.
• Steamed by hand: each shirt is steamed and pressed, not rolled through a machine.
• On a hanger: it comes back ready to wear, so there is nothing to do in the room.

Book a pickup in the morning and your shirts are back within 24 hours. Need one tonight? Ask for express before 2 PM, and we will confirm if your address is covered.

A two-piece suit is one item, and a jacket on its own is another. Ties are priced too, so you only send what you need.

• Suit: jacket and trousers cleaned together and pressed.
• Jacket alone: good after a long flight.
• Tie: cleaned and pressed with the suit.

Everything comes back on a hanger, ready for the meeting.

Visiting for a wedding, a family event or Friday prayers means traditional wear has to be fresh. Each piece has a clear price on this page.

• Kandura: cleaned, pressed and returned on a hanger.
• Abaya: a plain abaya and a delicate one have different prices, so tell us which you have.
• Ghutra: pressed so it sits evenly.
• Jalabiya and kurta: priced per piece, with men's and women's kurtas listed separately.

If you send several pieces, they are handled together and delivered together. For beaded or very fine abayas, choose the delicate price and mention it on WhatsApp so we can handle it with the right care.

Some pieces fit better elsewhere, and switching is easy.

• Only creased, already clean? Choose pressing only, which steams without a wash.
• Everyday T-shirts, socks and pyjamas? Use the Wash & Fold bag.
• Shoes or a bag with marks? Ask about shoe care or bag care.

Send a photo of the label and we will say which one is right before the driver comes to JA The Manor Hotel.

An evening dress or a blouse for a wedding, a gala or a night out should come back ready to wear. Here is how it goes.

• Tell us the event: give us the date and time you need the dress, and we plan around it.
• Careful cleaning: each dress is handled alone, and delicate trims are noted at the check.
• On a hanger: it returns pressed, and you can hang it straight on the wardrobe rail.

For a dress you need tonight, book before 2 PM and ask for express. That works only if your address is covered, so confirm with us when you message. A blouse for tomorrow's meeting can go with the same order.

A creased suit at the airport is a poor start. Ask for express suit pressing and tell us when you fly. If you book before 2 PM and your address is covered, express takes about 5 hours. Send the suit with a shirt or two, and they come back together on hangers.

Express is for a few urgent pieces, such as a shirt or a suit. Book before 2 PM, say what you need and by when, and we confirm if your address is covered. Larger orders are better booked a day ahead.

We take care with every piece, and the cover is clear. If an item is lost or damaged, we cover up to 10 times the cleaning price of that item. Pieces that were already damaged, or that have no care label, are cleaned at your own risk. Tell us about anything delicate when you book, so we can handle it with extra care, and mention it again to the driver at handover.
