Every bag from Golf Estates goes through the same careful routine, whether it holds a few things or a full 6kg. We never rush a load, however busy the day.

• Pockets emptied: tissues, tees, coins and keys come out first. A single pen can mark a whole load.
• Sorted by colour: whites and pale colours go together. Dark golf shorts and black leggings are washed apart from them.
• Marks treated first: sun cream, sweat and grass get attention before the wash, as dryer heat can fix them in place.
• Washed gently: biodegradable, hypoallergenic detergent, rinsed well, so clothes come back fresh without a heavy scent.
• Dried on low heat: cotton holds its shape and waistbands keep their stretch.
• Folded by hand: every piece is folded and checked before it is packed for the trip back.

Anything you want on a hanger belongs in Clean & Press, not in the bag.

Golf clothes work hard in the heat. Most polos and stretch trousers are polyester with some elastane, and they hold on to the smell of a hot round if they are left sitting in a bag.

• Don't leave kit shut in a golf bag. Damp cloth in a closed bag starts to smell within a day or two. Put it in your laundry bag once you are home.
• Shake out sand and grass. Pockets and trouser turn-ups catch more than you would think.
• Flag caps and gloves. Tell us when a cap or glove needs gentler care, and we will look at it before it is washed.
• Washed at a gentle heat. Low-heat drying keeps stretch fabric from going baggy and keeps waistbands snug.

A polo that comes back folded can go straight into the drawer. If you want it on a hanger, send it for Clean & Press instead.

The bag is for the clothes you wear and wash every week. If you would normally keep it in a drawer, it almost certainly belongs here.

• Everyday clothes: T-shirts, jeans, leggings, shorts, pyjamas and underwear.
• Sports and golf kit: polos, running tops, socks and gym shorts, including the pieces that smell after a hot session.
• Children's clothes: school uniforms, play clothes and soft cotton pieces.
• Light linen: the odd sheet or pillowcase fits, but a large bedding load is better booked under Bed & Bath.

Please do not pack underwired bras, wool jumpers that need hand washing, or anything marked dry clean only. If a label confuses you, a photo of it on WhatsApp is enough for us to check.

A well-packed bag saves time at both ends, and it only takes a few minutes before the driver arrives.

• Check the pockets for cash, keys, cards and golf tees.
• Separate dark and light if you can. We sort them again anyway.
• Add your community name to the booking, so the driver finds the right door in Golf Estates.
• Tell us about stains and what caused them.
• Keep delicates in their own bag so that nothing snags on a zip.

Golf Estates is spread over many communities, and the driver collects from each of them. Villas, townhouses and apartments are all covered by the same free pickup.

• Leave the bag by your front door at the time you picked. If your building has a front desk, the driver can collect from there instead.
• Gate details: if your community gate asks for visitor information, put it in the booking chat and we will pass it to the driver.
• Pin and community name: a location pin on WhatsApp is the easiest way to be found on a large estate.
• Time: choose the time that suits you when you book. A different time each week is fine.

Your laundry comes back to the same place, folded, and you will get a message when the driver is on the way.

In July and August the highs in Dubai go above 43°C, and summer humidity averages over 90%. Wet washing dries slowly in that air, and Dubai's balcony rules do not allow airing laundry outside, so a big wash can stay damp for a long time indoors.

• Home dryers run for hours on a big load of towels and golf kit.
• Damp cloth picks up a musty smell quickly in humid weather.
• Our dryers finish every load properly, so nothing comes back to you damp.

That is why a big bag of towels and kit is easier to hand over than to dry at home.

One bag costs AED 65. If you send laundry often, a monthly plan may suit your household in Golf Estates better. You can start with a single bag and move to a plan later.

Short answers to the things people ask before their first booking from Jumeirah Golf Estates.

• Can I send a second bag? Yes. Each bag up to 6kg has its own price, and the driver takes all of them in one trip.
• Is my laundry washed with other people's? No. Each customer's clothes get their own machine, and the drum is sanitised after every cycle.
• What if I'm out? Leave the bag at the front desk if your building has one, or tell us where it will be.
• How long does it take? Standard return is 24 hours across most of Dubai.

The price you see for a shirt from Golf Estates is the full price. Stain treatment, a hanger and a cover are all included, and nothing is added for the van.

• First checks: pockets emptied, care label read and loose buttons noted.
• Marks treated by hand: warm water can set a stain, so we treat it before the wash.
• Washed the right way: cotton goes in cool water to limit shrinking, and delicate pieces are handled to suit the fabric.
• Dried hanging: filtered air and no tumble dryer, so sleeves stay their length.
• Steam pressed in order: collar and cuffs first, then the front, back and sleeves.
• Three checks and then a cover, before the trip back to Golf Estates.

Traditional clothing is part of everyday life here, and we treat it with the same care as any other piece. A kandura comes back crisp, with the collar and cuffs pressed flat and no fold marks.

• Kandura or thobe: AED 15, on its own hanger.
• Ghutra or gathra: pressed flat so it is ready to wear.
• Jalabiya: washed and pressed for home wear.

Please put each in a separate bag from jeans and towels, and tell us about any marks when you book.

A shirt that goes from the golf club to the office needs a proper press, and Clean & Press is built for it. Each piece is hand finished on the steam press and returned hanging.

• Shirts: AED 18 each, with collar and cuffs done first. Good for a formal shirt that should not be folded.
• Trousers and chinos: cleaned and pressed with a straight crease.
• Suits: the jacket and trousers are cleaned and pressed together, so they come back as a pair.
• Blouses and light dresses: pressed with care, because thin fabric marks easily.

If a button has come loose, mention it when you book. We note it and tell you before pressing. A photo of the label on WhatsApp helps if you are unsure how a piece should be cleaned.

Clean & Press is for clothes that should hang. For other jobs, one of these may fit better.

• Creased but already clean? Our Pressing service steams out creases without a second wash.
• Silk, beads or sequins? Dry cleaning is gentler than water.
• Gym shorts and socks? Put them in a Wash & Fold bag.

Abayas range from plain cloth to pieces with heavy embroidery or beads. Basic and delicate abayas are priced separately, so tell us which yours is when you book from Golf Estates.

• Plain abayas: washed in cool water and pressed on a hanger.
• Beaded or embroidered pieces: better in dry cleaning, and priced in the UAE list.
• Bag them alone: beads can catch on zips and buttons in the same bag.
• Delicate pieces can take longer: we do not rush fabric that needs time, and we tell you how long at pickup.

If you are not sure, send a photo of the label on WhatsApp. We will tell you before the driver arrives, and you can decide then.

Pressed clothes are delivered on hangers in breathable covers, not folded in a bag. They go straight into your wardrobe in Golf Estates with no re-pressing.

• Hangers keep collars and shoulders in shape on the way home.
• Covers keep dust off between our van and your door.
• Breathable covers let the fabric rest, which is better than a plastic bag.

Tell us anything unusual when you book from Golf Estates. We note it on your order, so the team sees it before the wash and nothing is left to chance.

• A collar you would like a little stiffer, or left soft.
• A button that needs a look.
• A stain, and what caused it.

Book on WhatsApp with a location pin and your community name. Pickup and delivery are free, and shirts and kanduras can travel with an everyday bag of washing on the same trip, so one driver visit is enough.

• Standard return is 24 hours across most of Dubai.
• Express is 5 hours if booked before 2 PM, where your address is covered.
• The minimum order is AED 50.

You will get a message when the order is collected and again when it is on the way back.

One price per item covers pickup from your home in Golf Estates, the wash, the drying and the trip back. Our bed linen wash and fold is for sheets and pillowcases. Each one is washed, checked for dampness along the seams and folded flat. Small items get the same care as big ones, and a pillowcase simply dries faster.

• Checked by hand: corners, seams and any stain you told us about.
• A machine for your bedding only: a duvet needs room to turn, or the outside gets wet while the filling stays dry.
• Kind detergent: biodegradable and hypoallergenic, which matters most on a pillowcase you sleep on every night.
• Dried right through: we keep drying a duvet until the middle is as dry as the edges, and we check by hand, not by the clock.
• Nothing packed damp: bedding goes back to Golf Estates only when it is fully dry.

A duvet cover is a separate item at AED 31. Please take it off the duvet before you pack it.

Home machines are built for clothes, not duvets. A king-size duvet leaves little room to spin, so the rinse is poor and drying takes days, especially in humid weather.

• Our drums are much bigger than a household drum, so heavy items can turn freely.
• Heavy items are washed alone, not mixed with clothes.
• The bedding returns dry and fresh, ready for the bed.

It also frees the washing machine at home for your daily loads, which is a real gain in a house with guests.

Duvet and comforter laundering takes 48 to 72 hours in Dubai, because bulky bedding needs a long time to dry right through. Plan ahead if you have visitors arriving, and book a few days before.

• Duvets: AED 56 for any size from single to king.
• Blankets: AED 26 for a standard size. Larger ones cost more.
• Bedcovers: AED 29 each.

Check the care label first. Feather and down can be washed, but memory foam cannot. If the label is missing, send us a photo of the duvet on WhatsApp and we will tell you what to expect before the driver arrives.

In the summer heat, sheets and pillowcases need changing more often than duvets, so they wear first.

• Sheets: AED 25 each, flat or fitted. Turn fitted sheets inside out to find the socks hiding in the corners.
• Pillowcases: AED 9 each. Night cream and sun cream leave oily marks on cotton. Point them out, but please don't scrub.
• Pillows: AED 19 each. Fold one in half and let go. If it stays folded, the filling has flattened and washing will not help.
• Mattress protectors: AED 35. Heat can damage a waterproof backing, so send a photo of the label first.

Changing every bed after visitors? List the sets for each room in the chat, so you can check them off when they return.

Our towel laundry service takes bath and pool towels, which pile up quickly in a house with a pool or visitors. Washing them together is easy for us, and we dry them until they are properly soft and fully dry, never left damp in the middle.

• Towels: AED 7 each. Pool towels with sun cream on them are best sent soon after use.
• Bathrobes: AED 19 each, washed gently so the pile stays soft.
• Sofa covers: AED 46 for a regular size. They must be removable.
• Table cloths: AED 19 each, useful before a family lunch.

Add them to the same booking as your bedding and the driver collects everything in one visit, free of charge, from your home in Golf Estates.

A few things are better left with a specialist, or need a conversation first. We would rather say so before the driver arrives than after.

• Memory foam: pillows and toppers can break up in a wash, so we do not take them.
• Items with electric parts: heated blankets cannot go in water.
• Dry clean only labels: these go to dry cleaning rather than the wash.
• Rugs and curtains: each has its own service card near the top of this page.

If you are not sure about an item, photograph the label and message us. We will tell you before the pickup, so you do not hand over something we cannot wash.

Bed linen touches skin all night, so the detergent matters. We use a hypoallergenic, biodegradable one for every load of bedding from Golf Estates, and your bedding is washed in a machine of its own.

• Tell us about any allergy when you book. We note it on the order.
• Children's sheets are washed the same careful way as everyone else's.
• The drum is sanitised after every load.
