Your bag is opened and sorted by colour and fabric. Whites, lights and darks are washed apart, and heavy items like jeans are kept away from soft tops. That stops dye from running and stops lint sticking to dark clothes.

Each customer's laundry gets a machine to itself, and the machines are sanitised after every load. The detergent is commercial-grade, biodegradable and hypoallergenic, which makes it firm on dirt yet easy on skin.

Clothes are dried on low heat, because high heat shrinks cotton and wears out stretch fabrics. Leggings, gym tops and swimwear in particular last longer when they are dried gently. It takes a little longer, and the clothes keep their size and their shape.

Once dry, everything is folded and packed so it can go straight into the wardrobe. T-shirts are folded flat, and socks and underwear are kept together. A bag of clean clothes arrives ready to put away, not to sort again. Nothing comes back in a heap.

The 6kg bag suits a small household or a lighter week. If you have several bedrooms and a few children, the 12kg bag is often the better fit, because one bigger bag means one bigger load and you only book once. Check it against your own week to see which one fits.

Either way, the price stays the same however the clothes are packed. Pickup and delivery are free for both sizes.

Wash and fold is for everyday clothes. Keep out anything with a care label that says dry clean only, and anything beaded, embroidered or very fine. Those pieces are better in the clean and press tab, where each is washed and pressed on its own.

Bulky bedding, such as duvets and blankets, has its own tab and its own prices. It is dried fully and takes longer than a normal bag. Check pockets for coins, keys and tissues before you close the bag, since they can mark a whole load.

If you wash every week, a plan saves you rebooking. The Essential plan is AED 250 a month for one bag a week. The Family plan is AED 450 a month for two bags a week. A single bag on its own is AED 65.

Bags are collected on a set day each week, so the routine runs by itself. A house with a lot of school and sports kit may find the Family plan easier than ordering bag by bag. Collection and delivery are free on every plan.

Clean and press is for the clothes that have to look their best. Each garment is washed in cool water, dried in filtered air and steamed by hand. A shirt comes back crisp without any shine. Nothing is tumbled in a pile with other clothes.

Pieces are collected from your Mudon door and brought back the same way, on hangers where it matters, and the trips cost nothing. Each piece is priced by itself, so a single shirt costs what it costs in a big order too.

White kanduras show every mark, so we look at the collar and cuffs before washing. Each one is washed cool, steamed by hand and returned on a hanger, not folded. A ghutra is washed on its own so it keeps its shape, and it comes back ready to wear.

A shirt that is washed, steamed and hung straight away does not pick up the creases it would get in a bag. Having clean shirts ready on hangers saves a rushed morning, and you can send a whole week of them in one order.

Each shirt keeps the same price, whether you send one or ten, and they all come back together. Blouses, trousers and skirts are done in the same way, with a crease where there should be one and none where there should not.

An abaya is priced as basic or delicate, depending on the fabric and how much beading it has. Delicate pieces can take longer, and we tell you how long at pickup. They are washed cool, steamed by hand and returned on a hanger, ready to wear.

Beaded or embroidered pieces need more care, so mention them in the chat.

Every piece is handled on its own. It is checked when it arrives, any stains are treated by hand, and it is washed in cool water. After that it is dried in filtered air and steamed by hand, so the fabric is not scorched by a hot press.

It then goes back on a hanger or into a breathable bag so it can travel home without creasing. Nothing is mixed with another customer's clothes, and each load runs in a sanitised machine of its own. Delivery to your Mudon door is free.

Tell us what caused a stain, such as coffee, oil or sweat, and we will treat it by hand before the wash. Pointing it out on the note helps us choose the right method, because each kind of mark needs a different approach.

Old stains are harder than fresh ones, but it is still worth sending the piece. We will do what we can, and tell you if a mark may not come out completely.

Most bookings on this tab are for bed linen wash and fold. Sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers are washed by themselves, so they are never knotted round a bag of shirts. A duvet cover is AED 31, and it is washed separately from the duvet inside.

Write your house number and sub-community on a note, leave the bundle outside your front door, and it comes back folded, so you can make the beds that evening. Sheets come out of a big dryer flat and smooth, not crumpled from a rack in the spare room. In a house with four or five bedrooms, one big linen wash saves hours.

A towel laundry service is handy when a house goes through a lot of towels. Bath towels, pool towels and bathrobes all get a full wash and a long dry, so they come back soft and smelling fresh. Send the whole stack at once, and have clean ones for every bathroom.

Towels are washed apart from clothes, which keeps lint off dark shirts. Each one is folded when it is dry, ready for the shelf.

Keep towels out of the clothes bag, so they are priced and washed as bed and bath.

A duvet is AED 56, a blanket is AED 26 and a bedcover is AED 29. These are the bulky things a home washer struggles with. Bulky item washing here means a big machine and a full dry, which is why it takes 48 to 72 hours.

Duvet and comforter laundering is worth doing at least when the season changes. A properly washed duvet comes back fresher and fluffier, and the bed feels new again. Book the pickup a few days before you need it back, so there is no rush.

A bedsheet is AED 25, a pillowcase is AED 9, a pillow is AED 19 and a mattress protector is AED 35. Each piece has its own price, so you pay only for what you send. The table above lists them all.

A pillow that has gone flat often feels fuller after a proper wash and a long dry. The mattress protector is often forgotten, though it sits under the sheets all night. Add it to the order and the whole bed is clean at once. Send a second set of sheets too, so a fresh one is waiting for the next change.

Bundle the pillowcases together, because small items get lost in a big load.

A towel is AED 7 and a bathrobe is AED 19. Sofa covers are AED 46 and a tablecloth is AED 19. These are the things that get dirty in a family home but do not fit a home machine well. Covers wash better flat and open, and our machines are large enough for them.

If you have been putting off the sofa covers, add them to the same order as the sheets. They come back folded and ready to fit back on. A tablecloth that has seen a few dinners goes back to its best, with the marks treated by hand beforehand.
